This was horribly organized Easter Brunch. 1pm reservation since Feb 20th for 5 people. We did not get seated until 215pm. We saw a gentleman seating everybody else and when I said something to the hostess she said it was Niko the owner, therefore the owner was seating everybody else that came after us and we watched it happen and the hostess apologized. At least 10ppl before us, it was unorganized from the beginning. The line was 30 min long to the buffet. Unfortunately, because of the long wait time to get to our table and by the time we made it to the buffet line, they were out of potatoes, prime rib, shrimp, and pork loin etc. I am sorry but I did not come here to pay 50 dollars for some cold scrambled eggs and bacon. Unfortunately, after waiting 2 and a half hours to to eat we DID NOT... I had to bring dirty plates back on 2 seperate occasions and go to the kitchen to get silverware after my 3 remaining family members age 70 came back from getting what they had left at the buffet. Do not waste your time. THIS IS THE WORST EASTER BRUNCH I HAVE EVER HAD. IF YOU ARE GOING TO NEED RESERVATIONS DO NOT HAVE A FREE FOR ALL FOR SEATING FOR THOSE THAT DO NOT HAVE RESERVATIONS, THEREFORE OVER LOOKING EVERY RESERVATION THAT WAS MADE PRIOR. I guess you need to have a personal connection in order to get world class service and seated sooner without a reservation and food. We got so desperate I asked for a restaurant menu. Not available at this time. Glasses dirty at table and cracked water glass... Our server was not attentive, my one positive statement about my horrible easter is that the one kind woman who was a server at another table tried to assist in resolving the issue of the lack of food to accomodate the easter brunch they promoted. I thanked her and she was lovely. I JUST WANT TO SAY I CAME FOR BRUNCH AND ALL I GOT WAS THIS COFFEE CAKE. I left it on the table I did not come here for coffee cake, I came here for brunch but instead got dirty plates, dirty water cup, a cracked water cup, and no meat for the 50 dollar brunch package that contained bacon and grey eggs from sitting in the pan for so long. HAPPY EASTER... This is my first time at this Nikos and after this horrible experience let me rephrase embarrasing experience, I will no longer frequent any of their establishments. We go once sometimes twice a month.. ...
Read moreI hate to do it but I have no choice if I am honest. We had high hopes for our first visit to Niko's Supper Club last night. I called and made a reservation for 7:30, party of 3. We arrived on time. There was no one waiting and there were a couple of open tables. One of the hostesses asked us to wait. I figured it would be a few minutes, no problem. Several groups of 2, 4 and 6 came in behind us without reservations and were seated as we waited........and waited.........and waited for 25 minutes. When I inquired with the hostess she had no explanation. I politly asked "what is the point of a reservation." It was clear that they screwed up and forgot us. By now even more people came in and now it was standing room only and some of them had reservations. Again, they went right around us and were seated. The hostess said that they like to seat larger parties first and then grabbed 2 menus and promptly seated a party of 2 right in front of us. When I politely asked why, the other hostess Sofie, became defensive, more attitude. We waited another 10 minutes until they finally seated us. The other hostess didn't seem to care either. No apology or anything.......just more attitude from them.
After we were seated and ordered, our salads arrived. After finishing our salads, it another 25 minutes for our meal (fish fry) to arrive after the salads. Way to long! I understand it was a bit busy, but it was well after 8pm by then and things were already winding down and the crowd had thinned. I could tell our waitress was worried because she kept coming back to out table to assure us our main course would be served soon. Now to be fair, Emily was our waitress and she was excellent! She did the best she could to make our experience good. I tipped her 20%
Later near the end of our meal, a older grey haired gentleman who appeared to be the owner (Niko maybe?) came down our row and stopped at every single table to ask how things were. That is until he arrived at our table and just walked right past our table to the next table. It was truly bizarre. So that added insult to injury for us and we decided to pay and leave.
It's a let down because the truth is the food is excellent. Ya just have to get past the hostess staff and...
Read moreIf no stars was an option then I'd choose that for the rating. I cannot recommend eating here based on my family's experience tonight.
The owner did reach out and make ammends. Pending my next visit I will determine if I should remove this review. I've increased from 1 to 3 stars based on the owner's showing care for customers.
The service from the waitress - kitchen cooks - Manager Dimitri - all employees failed.
The waitress had a general attitude to begin and her overall demeanor was not acceptable of the service industry.
As we ordered drinks she mixed them up, multiple times and struggled with basic skills of showing appreciation to the customer. She informed us that there were no salads (wrong according to Dimitri.) She told us kids meals did not include a side (wrong according to menu).
As our food came, two of the steaks we ordered arrived severely undercooked. We had to send 1 steak back twice and another stake back once. The waitress never aplogized.
The chicken ordered was over cooked and dried out.
We ordered things like ranch, balsamic glaze, sour cream. The waitress forgot them all and never once apologized.
As I reached my limit with the food and service I asked to see a manager. The waitress proceeded to move slowly, she attempted to clear plates and she dumped a stack of plates with sour cream all over my son. While she attempted to help, she used a soiled napkin to clean him. I asked her to leave and provide a manager. She chose to argue with me for a few moments more, finally apologizing for spilling on my son.
Dimitri arrived and after I explained my evening he offered a half hearted apology left and sent back another waitress with my bill at full price.
I appreciate that its a newer location and the establishment likely had a very busy weekend. I also understand supper club prices are higher than a normal dine-in restaurant.
If Dimitri is representative of the R&R Supper Club experience then it is clearly over priced and the food is not worth this.
I don't think everyone would have this experience, but I don't think anyone should risk their money here. There are plenty of better places to...
