Willy's Restaurant — Restaurant in Illinois

First, I'll admit that I had my doubts driving that far out of town to a Mexican place called Willy's, but I'm glad to say those doubts were put to rest. I'm not sure what the customer ate who said his food was tasteless because it could not have been more opposite. It was a little pricey, but after seeing the quality of the meat/food used, I can understand the pricing. I got the triple fajitas, and after tasting the steak, I'll just be getting the Texas fajitas next time... YUMMMMM! My friend got a pork plate and he was so pleased! The only unpleasant thing was the longer wait than most Mexican places, but if that's the food you get, who cares! Oh, and the short stocky guy was an OK guy 😁 and the TV was off which is fine because you're there to eat food, not rate a restaurant on their TV access. Keep up the good...

Started with blended Pineapple margaritas. After the first sip, there was no real pineapple taste. The chips and salsa--salsa was a bit spicey for us, but the chips were good. Only got a couple chips tasted before our meals came (the waitress forgot to bring the chips). My hubby's pork had very little flavor and was very fatty. The beans were super salty. Rice was okay. My chicken flautas also had no real flavor, and the guacamole and sour cream was so filled with lettuce, that it was hard to spread on top. The beans were too salty, but the rice was okay. Me and my family were there yesterday,we sat at a table by the TV and we were watching it until this short guy came to lower the volume all the way that we couldn't hear it without even ask anything I mean it might be your business but it's not your house to not show education and disrespect your customers like this without ppl you'll be out of business, then we kindly asked the waiter if she please could put it up a lil bit wich she did but but the short guy passed and suddenly the signal went out,not going there any more service was ok,food ok nothing to be proud of, i like el carboncito or la Laguna better...
