This place is way out in the middle of nowhere - on an Indian Reservation. As we love to try out-of-the-way places, we thought we'd give Swamp Water Cafe a try. We weren't disappointed. I will start by saying I had the fish & chips and was not thrilled with the fish, which was a deep-fried, breaded cod. It's obviously a frozen patty, much like you would purchase in a supermarket. It had more of a 'minced' texture than a flaky one. It did taste good, however, and the breaded was great. The fries are awesome. My wife had fried chicken thighs and said they were great. The mini coke freestyle machine was out of basically everything except sprite and root beer. I got mini corn dogs and they were kind of sweet. They have a big salad bar. My wife ordered the daily special and then we paid and then the lady came out the kitchen and said they were out and she had to pick something else.
