I rarely give 5 stars for anything but this place is exceptional. It’s kinda in the middle of nowhere but don’t let that fool you. I’m willing to bet that the owner, Giuseppe, (who greets everyone at their table at least once) has restauranteur in his blood. Family friendly Italian cuisine at reasonable prices. Server was charming. We went for dinner with my bride’s parents (who were frequent customers) for her birthday dinner and yes, the staff sang “Happy Birthday” for her.
My Chicken Mudega was flawless. The chicken breast was melt-in-your-mouth and I could taste the slight crispness of the grill under the lemon and mushroom sauce with just the right amount of garlic. I enjoyed the artichoke hearts in the dinner salad with the mild yet flavorful house dressing. The side pasta was just-right-al dente and its white wine sauce rivaled any I’ve had across the country. The bride was very pleased with her Chicken Trattoria, noting the freshness of ingredients.
Dessert was a nice dense unadorned New York style cheesecake. The birthday girl got hers with “it’s your birthday” written on the plate in chocolate sauce while mine came with “not your birthday” on it, which we all found hilarious.
We’ll be back.
