We all decided on pasta. Holy cow the portions are massive. I was pretty hangry and still took home over half. Complimentary bread was very good-appreciated the butter wasn't hard and easy to spread. Owner came by our table to check on us. Server and staff were all great. Server went over all the specials and gave us space as we took forever to decide. All of the dishes were amazing. Spag carbona was so delicious. I recommend adding the shrimp if you like shrimp-it soaked up the sauce nicely. Do not let the parking lot fool you. May be a bit dated inside but very clean and professional atmosphere . Prices seem comparable although portions more than make up for if you feel they are high. We felt prices were appropriate. Highly recommend reservations-we walked in and were able to be seated but we were there at 330. Highly recommend-we will return

Best pork chops in all of the midwest Edit: After frequenting the establishment again, my dad and I had 2 below average experiences. He had the tuta maré, I had some type of lemon sauce breaded chicken. Mine tasted similar to a banquet frozen dinner. My dad said his dish was extremely bland, then relayed this to the waitress. When he told her how bland it was he jokingly said “taste it”. To both of our surprise, she stuck her finger in the sauce and tasted it. Agreed it was bland, took it back to the kitchen. Then when it was brought back, the spice was clearly on top. Apart from this the service was always good. The atmosphere of all the trailer park people getting all dressed up for the big day out is insane and comical.

We came for dinner on the recommendation of a family member. We were greeted promptly by Grace asking if we had a reservation, unfortunately we did not have a reservation, but were still sat promptly anyway. For starters we had the soup of the day Bacon potato, comfort in a bowl, full of flavor and an Italian Supreme salad loaded with toppings fresh and delicious. For dinner we had the special of the evening chicken spiedini over a bed of risotto and the Lasagna. Both were scrumptious, you can tell the dishes are made with family traditional love. Shout out to our waitress Lori, super friendly and excellent service. If you're looking for a delicious Sicilian restaurant, I definitely recommend trying Trattoria Giuseppe.

What a disappointing dinner with 3 other couples. Of the 8 of us three of the pasta side dishes were room temperature to almost cold. I sent my side dish back and my friends wife sent hers back twice. When they came back they both were not hot like they should be and the marinara sauce on mine separated and was watery. I ordered the chicken moddiga, one of my favorites, a breaded chicken breast topped with prosciutto ham and melted cheese and covered in a white wine lemon butter sauce. Normally the sauce is thickened and hot enough to melt the cheese when poured over it. When my order was placed in front of me, I looked down to see slices of unmelted cheese and a watery sauce and what looked like regular pieces of ham not prosciutto. When I cut into the chicken and looked at the cut piece, it looked like it was still pink in the middle or not cooked properly and the chicken was room temperature like the side dishes. It seemed like the kitchen staff were not concerned about proper food temperatures and sending out food that will not disappoint the customer. Out server was great though and took our plates back to get them warmed up and waiting on our needs during the rest of our stay. The owner came around to shake our hands and then sat at another table talking to the patrons there. The 8 of us all agreed he should have been in the kitchen watching the food coming out and making sure it was hot. Our table was situated in front of an AC vent that was blowing cold air on my wife's back the whole time we were there making it very uncomfortable. Had I known before we left, I would have...

Second time visiting the restaurant. First was 🤌🏻. Second, not as great.

Was seated next to a very loud and drunk 12-top. Finally their food arrived and I could speak at normal volume to my wife and we could understand one another.

Ordered shrimp cocktail (great), cheese garlic bread (great). I ordered Filet Mignon, my wife the lasagna, and the $35 Vina Robles from the “special night” wine menu.

Lasagna was so-so, as I’ve cooked better at home. No problem. Filet arrived and it was a 6” long and less than an inch thick - taste and texture like a trimmed down NY strip. Tasty, but wrong cut. Wine arrived and it was not Vina Robles but instead the $28 Terra Romana from Romania.

When the check arrived, I figured that there must’ve been miscommunication regarding the wine at the front of house, and we would pay for the $28 bottle versus the $35 bottle. No, we were charged $35 for the $28 bottle of wine.

They were understaffed on 3/7/25 and mistakes happen, but just seemed to be a comedy of errors that night.

Will probably take them out of the date night rotation for the time being and keep an eye on reviews for signs of improvement.

Peak of the night was our waitress Lori, and the young folks clearing spent dishes - all were timely and very kind. Appreciated Joe stopping by twice to ask how things were. Didn’t want to cause a stink and said everything was fine.

Again, first visit was terrific, but this visit left a bit...

I have never in my life been treated so rudely by service staff. We walked in, and when asked if we had a reservation, the elderly hostess rolled her eyes, sighed loudly, and told us she would have to "look" to see what was available. Then, without actually looking at anything, told us the only thing available would be seating outside. We had never been to this restaurant before, so we pointed out the front door to some tables we passed in the way in and asked if that was the outdoor seating she was referring to, then pointed to the back of the restaurant and asked if there was additional outdoor seating in the back. This question seemed to set her off. She started speaking to us slowly, loudly, and exaggerating every syllable, like how you would talk to someone that didn't understand English, and said, "Like I JUST said, since you showed up without a reservation, the only seating I have is outside." Her tone was just the worst and she treated us like we were stupid and an inconvenience. It was so mean for no reason that it nearly brought me to tears and we just left. Reading other reviews, it looks like other people have had the same bad experience with this same lady. She really needs to be moved to a position where she doesn't have to interact with the public because she acts like she...
