If I could give no stars, I would! Went with our family (5 adults and 3 small children) at 6:30 on a Saturday night. Restaurant was about half full and not very busy. We ordered an appetizer of chips and queso and after about 30mins and asking 4 different times they finally told us “we needed to make more queso”. We waited longer and finally got the appetizer. We asked for our food to be boxed up because the kids needed to go to sleep, and were told it was “normal” to wait an hour for food cause they only have one cook and one fryer. There was no apology or offer of any discount. Instead they made it a point to prove we were wrong. We went back to our condo next door and informed other people of the poor service and attitudes. Then, one of the employees proceeded to come outside and yell obscenities at us because we were warning others in the parking lot of our terrible experience. Shortly thereafter, we get a knock on our door. The Lakehouse Bar and Grill had called the police on us for being “disruptive”. Keep in mind our 3 small children were all in bed at this point and all the adults were playing a board game at the dinner table. Luckily the policeman thought the call was as bizarre as we did. The whole experience was like something out of the...
Read moreI had a not-so-good experience with the "drinks" and staff - the dark-haired bartender with the beard has no business being in the hospitality business. He was surley and unfriendly. We ordered 2 call drinks. He mixed them in front of us and gave us about a 1.5-second pour - less than 1/2 oz. of liquor - charged us $13.50 for the drinks - the 7-UP line in the gun had not been purged and it was flat - the drinks were terrible,- I could not taste the difference between a rum & 7 and a gin and tonic - but the bartender was so unfriendly that we decided just to drink them and not come back. He came out on the patio while we were there - he was irritated and asked us "Is that your green car out there???!!!" - some car had parked wrong (it was not ours). Otherwise, I know this can be a nice place and has a decent deck for...
Read moreMy husband and I were on a short vacation, staying at a resort in Indian Point. For 3 days we looked for a bar and grill where we could sit outside have a couple of drinks and some food. We kept going into Branson main Street and couldn't find the atmosphere we were looking for. The last night we finally found The Lake House. It was exactly what we wanted. The food and drinks were good. It wasn't very crowded because it was Wednesday night. But the people were so nice and the music was terrific. We sat outside on the patio looking at Table Rock Lake. When it started to rain we were able to sit in the screened in porch. We loved this place and will go back real soon. Thank you for the...
