Los Bravos Mexican Restaurant (Boonville, In) — Restaurant in Indiana

We used to love this place. Went here on new years day, and was super disappointed. Our drinks were completely empty. Our food was so so. The prices went up $3-$4 per plate and the serving size went down significantly. The part that was the worst was I planned on sharing a plate with my toddler. The waitress was not happy over that. The plate I was supposed to share was so spicy I couldn't begin to share it with anyone let alone eat it myself. The waitress came back once to ask me if I wanted to order something for my toddler since I ordered a spicy dish. I have ordered the same dish for at least the last 18 months. This was made spicy intentionally. It had enough pepper in it that I could literally scrape it off the chicken. Then to have the nerve to say ask me if it was too spicy and offer us a nearly $6 kids meal... wont be back. My family has eaten here at least twice a month for the last 2.5 years. This was absurd. We always enjoy eating at Los Bravos, however on this occasion, we didn't stay to eat. We went in and were offered a booth that was very cramped due to other booth seat pushed up close. Asked for another table, and were seated right next to bar seating with many other customers very close by. It smelled like stale smoke and wasn't very appealing, so we chose to leave. We were disappointed that they did not have the social distancing in place, but just crammed in as many as possible in one area. Los Bravo's is normally one of our favorite restaurants, but not on Saturday, 2-27-21. We wound up eating across the road at El Maguey...

Probably the worst experience here. The service was inexcusable. Our waitor ignored our table and another for the 10 top he had. And when I say ignored I ordered the same margarita 3 times and waited over 20 min for it. It was so bad my fiances cousin ordered a beer a few times as well. There was no one at the bar. He finally went up to the bar because he was just going to go get it by him self. We had to ask for chips and salsa so many times one of us waited outside the kitchen and just asked a waited that wasn't ours. I understand being busy but this was flat out being ignored. And when we said something they got upset with us....
