I'll start this review by stating as someone who has worked at a fast food restaurant for over 10 years, I would never be "that person" unless it was bad and this is truly the most bizarre experience I have ever had at a place of service to the point where I thought they were trolling me. After repeating our order multiple times to the worker at the speaker that was slurring their words and picking at the side of their face as they cashed us out, we made it to the drive thru window and were given our drinks- 2 of which were the wrong size despite paying for an uncharge. As we waited for our food we sat there in shock listening to the workers making screeching noises at one another, saying wheee, and just generally seeming to not know what was going on. Not wanting to be those people we didn't say anything about the drinks and took our food. Entire order cold, meat stiff and obviously hours old, fries half full and missing sauce and items from the bag. When we tried to go inside to ask if our order could be replaced we couldn't get inside due to their doors being locked an hour before they close inside. Walked over to the drive thru and said we were sorry not trying to make a scene or be rude but it's all really cold and rubbery. The worker at the window said "nah we just made the buns to order" (which is irrelevant if the meat is so old its hard) and it took several minutes of repeating what was wrong with our order to even get the worker to replace our order. He took the bag from us through the window (which is a health code violation) without saying a word and left us standing outside the window. After 5 minutes of nobody coming back we got back into the car and pulled around to the drive thru where same guy thats slurring his words and LITERALLY picking at the side of his face opens the window behind us calls out hey what these people waiting on, annoyed and shocked at this point by the service we're receiving we tell him we're pulling up to get our order remade. Get to the window, try to hand us the wrong order, have to explain AGAIN that we are still waiting for our food to be replaced because it was all cold and old. They call out to the back to start making it at this point it's been at least 10 minutes since we gave the food back and they left us standing so we mention that our drinks are the wrong size. The employee proceeds to call us all but liars, all four of us are extremely angry at this point so we hold our SMALL cups 2 of which we're supposed to be medium up to show him we aren't lying, he doesn't say a word and walks away. Nobody comes to the window for several minutes as loud bangs that sound like someone throwing or hitting things can be heard and the workers make noise effects once again to each other. Another worker comes to the window and we ask for a refund at this point. He says he can't do a refund. At this point I'd had enough and said no you absolutely can do a refund. What I'm assuming is the manager comes to the window? Not sure because she had no hat on with her hair down but none of the other workers had hats on either. She then begins listing off our order angrily telling us we only had 3 small fries when we ordered 4 bundles at this point we are all holding our hands up, showing her our receipt with 4 meals, that we have no extra food in the car and again ask for a refund as we are 2 hours from home. She then says our mcdoubles are done and asks us to pull forward while they make our nuggets and fries. We say again we just want a refund at this point. She finally says pull forward and she'll give us a refund. Manager comes out about 5 minutes later with refund informing us that the crew are all idiots. We left absolutely mind blown at this restaurants quality and in shock at the behavior of the workers. I don't know who owns this mcdonalds but if they care anything about their stores they should probably step in an re evaluate their management because I can't imagine ever going to a place with such poor customer...
Read moreSlow isn't the right word. Intentional, uncalled for, purposely making you wait. Still lacking an accurate description. This is, hands down, the most ridiculously slow place on our humble little planet Earth. Maybe even throughout the universe. 3 orders in front of us and it still took over 20 minutes to get our order. No one was manning the front counter, no one. Two people were wiping tables, that were already clean because no one was eating because no one was taking orders, and 2 people were manning drive thru. 1 person was at the grill. But no one was on the front counter. The only reason we had our order placed was because there is a touch screen ordering kiosk here that we took advantage of. While I was sitting there pondering my poor choice of stopping here, I watched the front counter. There were 4 groups of lost souls standing at the counter waiting to place their orders. Waiting, watching, staring dazed and confused as car after car rolled through drive thru and no one even acknowledging their existence. I too was sucked into the confusion and started counting the minutes. 3, 4, 5 minutes. Still not a response from the oblivious workers. 7 minutes, whoa wait, a worker came out and took 1 order. Then disappeared again. Leaving the 3 remaining groups spinning around mumbling not so quietly. Another 6 minutes and voila, the elusive worker reappears and takes another order, then ever so bothered by having to take an order, walks off again. Still no orders vended to the lobby. Several cars whizzing past the drive thru cashier. Finally one of the 2 remaining groups waiting to place an order scoffingly storms out. Intrigued to follow suit I realized I've already paid and decide to continue waiting. Mean while my wife is gearing up to go behind the counter and make our order so that we can eat and get back on the road. She wisely decides she doesn't want to set a bad example for the others customers to follow. No one wants to make the 5 o'clock news that way. 7 more minutes go by before the stealthy worker emerges and has our orders. She barks out several order numbers, but no one responds. She does it again. Again no one jumps up. My wife sees what looks like our order and flys up to the counter, examines it, and says, "this is our order". The worker says "is your order 32?" My wife says "no, its 26 and this is ours". She takes it and brings it to our table. One of the other 3 orderers walks up and performs the same ritual. Again incorrect order number, but correct food. The other 2 do the same. We ate and gladly left to never return here again. It might be the cleanest McDonald's around, but forget trying to get food here. Just go...
Read moreWe waited 25 min to order. No big deal, they were busy..but then we get to the window and the person handing our drinks was so rude. The iced vanilla coffee I ordered and requested extra vanilla had none and wasn't even filled all the way up. Then we get a bag of garbage. Fries old and stale , I told her they were cold she took the bag back and literally handed me the same old cold stale fries. Then I took them out of the bag and asked again for hot fries. The manager came and said they were not cold...I requested new fries and they pulled me into spot 1. Waited 10 more min and they brought out my iced coffee and the food it was all horrible, no vanilla at all even though I paid for extra so I was drinking what can only be described as bitter cold and old coffee. I'm definitely contacting their corporate office but I doubt it will help. nothing we got was even close to safe Temps. Take the extra 10 min drive and go down the street. Don't waste your money here. I threw out the coffee and the food. All we wanted was hot food...and my iced vanilla coffee...smh. the only good thing was the girl that took our payment she was really nice. The only reason they got 1 star is because of her. (And no option for 0) Do better. Get managers that care so they train your people right and give out hot food!! Maybe pay attention to the orders so people get what they paid for...
