Pat's Cafe — Restaurant in Indiana

My sister and I ate at the Cafe on Saturday.We had to wait a long time to get our food.I ordered a cheeseburger and fries.My sister ordered a Manhattan.It was served with Texas bread.The gravy was not that good.She also ordered cottage cheese.She never got it.My hamburger bun was not even toasted.The hamburger patties must of come from Walmart freezer.It also was cold.The lady didn't even come around to see if everything was good.She put one price of the food different from the menu.After I paid, she said it was over$20.00.Then she brought the cash register receipt and that was different price from the first two.And it was less than$20.00 WTH! My sister got sick from the Manhattan she ordered.She is not a good waitress.She needs to be the dishwasher or just work the register.Sadly to say we will not eat there unless it's breakfast and we have the other lady wait on us.She has short hair and thin.She is also friendly.Not the other lady.Well I think I have said...

Went for the first time and it will be the last. I love supporting local businesses but there are plenty around here to do so. Ordered coffee to start. Waited 10 minutes, the waitress came to ask what we wanted to drink. Finally brought the coffee then took our order. 40. Yes 40 minutes later the food came. I got a platter eith eggs, potatoes, sausage and half order biscuits and gravy (most of which I shared fyi). Boyfriend got 1/2 order biscuits and gravy with a side of sausage patties. The waitress proceeds to make a snarky remark about the amount of food I got making me want to leave immediately. The food was bland, lukewarm and somewhat undercooked. Mushy fried potatoes, tough as leather sausage, floury tasting gravy, cool fried eggs. He got undercooked biscuits while mine were done but tough. Topping it all off we got the bill before the food. Disappointed. This place...

Pats cafe...when I was younger I worked for Cindy at pats cafe ...I have some of the best memories of my life from working there. Cindy, Danny..always make the best food for every customer that comes into pats cafe. The best smile from Cindy along with her amazing pies ! If you aren't local I suggest travel to pats cafe. I miss working there I am near 50 now and I still make Cindy's pumpkin cake for my family . Her rolls are amazing too! There isn't many places like pats cafe left these days so go meet Cindy, eat the best home cooked food ..you won't regret it ..and Cindy if you read this I hope you remember me ..you always had me write the menu board for the day, and we sang the song celebrate karaoke one time and had many laughs ...miss you and all the customers we had !
