Visited Puerto Vallarta on 3/8/24 at around 8pm. Ordered the quesabirria. The quesabirria came out extremely soggy & lacking any crisp. I told my waitress it was soggy and did not have any crispness and her response was “quesabirria is not suppose to be crispy” my waitress was a small white girl with glasses. She asked me if I would like them to put it back in the oven, which I did. The quesabirria came back out with a little more crisp but the soggy tortillas had already taken its toll & after I ate one I could not continue (see photo). Anybody who enjoys quesabirria knows it is suppose to be crisp with an orange like color on the tortillas from being dipped in broth. It seemed as if the tortillas had been sitting out all day and were not at all fresh. After getting the check & placing our card down to pay, our waitress was talking to another waitress behind the bar directly in front of us for 10 mins while our card laid 5ft from her as we were sitting very close to the bar top. We looked over at her numerous times to no avail, and my girlfriend decided to take the check & card directly to her. The other waitress who was not serving us apologized after realizing. This was, by far, the worst restaurant experience I’ve had in years, potentially my entire life. I had heard good things about puerto vallarta before going but I will...
Read moreFood was good everything else was awful. For starters, it took 15 minutes just to be given a menu…. I ordered a margarita that came in a dirty glass. There was a bit of strawberry Crusted on my glass, but I ordered a lime margarita. The second drink I ordered came with a cute little ice cube but just a huge tip for the restaurant you are not supposed to be reusing these ice cubes. Why the hell do you have people being exposed to rusty devices. Our food was seasoned great we actually really liked it but why would it come without the warmer ? Isn’t that part of what we’re paying for ? The bartender here literally just stood there while the drinks sat there for 10 minutes before our waitress picked them up. Absolutely no one is in the bar so there’s no reason she couldn’t have help helped out a little bit besides being purely lazy. Everything took...
Read moreThe atmosphere was nice, but that's was one of the only good things we experienced here. I took my 19 year old kid to dinner here. The sever was extremely rude to us and had little knowledge about the menu. My kid got the steak burrito and the steak was very overcooked and tasted bad, so only a couple bites of the burrito was eaten. The server refused to comp the meal. When I complained, her response was "Yea, people usually complain." Not to mention that they charged $10 for a virgin margarita and $6.50 for a cup a quesso. $52 for two people when we couldn't eat the majority of the food and were made to feel like we were...
