Tommy B's Clubhouse — Restaurant in Indiana

Was in their party room for a company party with appetizers and dinner for up to 30 people being paid for last night. The room was reserved to be for our private party. We had 17 people come with the weather keeping some from attending. We started having the general public coming in from the main bar area and started taking up the seating in and around the fireplace area, parking theirselves at OUR bar and blocking the walk way and wouldn't move when trying to get through when they had no business being allowed to come into a PRIVATE PAID dinner party. Not to mention using and tying up our restroom inside this room. The food and service was great, but I don't feel that the doors should have been let open for the general public. Had a private event there, and it was a horrible experience. We sat and met with the owner before booking the event. She never mentioned that there wasn't air conditioning in the event room. It was 86 degrees the entire time we were there. We were also told in the deal that we would have two personal bartenders for our group only, we were only given one, which caused long delays to get service. The owner also informed us that all soft drinks would be free for the event, which she then later back pedaled and acted like she never told us that. It was just lie after lie. The bartender we had was great! Too bad the owner for this restaurant ruined our experience with constant lies on what our package included. The pizza also was quite soggy. Would give it 0 stars if i could. I used to give this place business all the time.. no longer can. a person who “knew the owner” was able to threaten me and get me kicked with no reason other than singing karaoke.... the other employees even said to me “ i am so sorry , she just has a lot of say around here.. i saw and don’t agree but you have to go”

so i peacefully left, but now i will 100% not recommend this place to ANYONE in the area. her “besties” come first and they do not care about the people who pay their bills or keep them in business. i cannot support these types of people. i felt extremely bullied , gained up on, and for that i will not be back.

i recommend NO BODY to come here. go to downtown valpo for better food, better service, and better off a better experience . tommy b’s is...
