Had a great experience! Our waitress was fantastic. Brought us everything we needed before we ever asked. Drinks, napkins and the bill. Food came out piping hot and delicious. We got the beer battered cheese curds and they were great, whatever that spicy dip was that they came with was a delightful surprise. My husband got the chicken sandwich and added the hot honey with a side of Brussel sprouts. Brussel sprouts can be so hit or miss at restaurants but these were great! I got the chicken wrap with hot honey and a side of the baked Mac n cheese. My kids shared the kids pizza with fries. Everything was so tasty! The hot honey is pretty spicy so just a fair warning (but so worth it). We would order everything again but will have to try something new next time! The portions are a good size. We were very full by the time we were done eating. 2 adults and 2 young kiddos all had a filling meal plus an appetizer for $40 + tip which is pretty darn good. There were more expensive dinner options that we didn’t get but came with 2 sides. Pretty reasonably priced.
The atmosphere was decent. Lots of open space in there, we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. We have 2 young kids and a baby. They can be loud and crazy at times but there was enough space and the music was loud enough that we didn’t feel that we were disturbing those around us. There were lots of different sporting events on the tvs throughout the room. Looks like there will be an outdoor eating area which will be a nice touch for the summer. The waiting area is a little tight, some extra benches would be nice to add so people don’t have to stand in the way of new customers checking in. But they have a text waiting list so you can wait in your car or when the weather is nicer you can wait outside if needed.
Overall we had a great experience! What a nice addition...
Read moreMan. I really wanted to like this place. The server was fine- definitely not the biggest issue. The food was a real disappointment.
Started with onion rings. They were “aight”. Pretty greasy, but the batter actually did have a strong beer-battered flavor, which was somewhat good. The interesting part of the this dish was the sweet/spicy sauce. Really weird tasting. Thought I liked it at first, then I didn’t, then I kind of did, but I think I finally arrived at “didn’t like it”. Tasted like a meijer store bottle of sweet n’ sour sauce was mixed with something with a kick. For dipping onion rings…just weird.
My wife ordered salmon and green beans. Whatever was drizzled on the salmon was really strange tasting (we both tasted it). Sent it back and it turns out the completely plain salmon is actually not bad. The green beans legit tasted to me like dish soap. The wife didn’t like them at all, either.
I got the bourbon burger. Ordered straight off the menu, no special requests. I guess I expected there to be toppings that came on it, but maybe it’s my fault for not specifying that I wanted something more than a quarter pound of ground beef with cheese. It tasted “meh”. After a while it mostly tasted like grilled ground beef. Not much flavoring, aside from the “maple bourbon jam”, which sounds good, in theory. Again, just tasted a little strange.
So sorry I had to leave this review, but I live just around the corner and was really hoping for a solid sit-down style restaurant close by so I don’t need to drive out to The Depot in greenfield for a good meal.
I hope you guys can turn...
Read moreBusy new restaurant, locals supporting in an options starved area of mostly a few mainstay basic fast food and a traditional cuisines. Interior basic utilitarian decor and furniture, not upscale. Food options slight twists on normal favorites. But first time ever Reuben sandwich with add on charges for cheese, etc I’ve ever seen. What!!!! Rye bread as expected and corned beef seems home cooked not deli cut. Very minimal dressing nt enough. Right amount of sauerkraut. A bit disappointing could have been better. Did come with slightly generous side, I chose mashed potatoes and brown gravy. Heavy on butter/garlic? Other dish Beef Manhattan a huge disappointment. Insufficient gravy (what is a Beef Manhattan without more than enough gravy to soak the bread), beef a few slivers of probably precooked rewarmed dry ewww. Mashed potatoes with not enough gravy is a huge miss. Skimpiest Beef Manhattan I’ve ever seem. Third dish mediocre I’m not putting effort to type it in. Tony D’s not on my go to restaurant list, no wow factor to be had. Ok for locals but too many misses to bring guests. That’s all 2/5 not 3. Young male host very cordial the best part of the visit. The two gal hostesses who came up later not enthused very meh...
