Vesuvio Pizza — Restaurant in Indiana

I'll say the people giving five stars here fit into one of three categories.

They gave five stars because they don't know quality pizza. They are associated with the store. They changed the pizzas they made after those reviews.

First things first. After I called and ordered I was told 40-45 minutes. Pizza wasn't done for an hour and a half. I thought they forgot. I live a mile away.

I ordered extra sauce and half of the pizza had almost no sauce. It was just cheese on dough. The other half had what I'd expect to be normal. The people I ate with even asked if I ordered no sauce.

The entire pizza tasted 'frozen'. I'm not sure how unless the cheese was frozen or something. Just odd that it didn't taste fresh but that would explain the little to no sauce since it would be tough to add when you have frozen components.

Absolutely amazing Pizza and Sub Sandwiches. Huge portions. They do not skimp. You will not leave hungry. Eat in, carry out, take n bake or delivery in local area. Great deals and specials throughout the week. Just ordered Wednesdays special! Buy one whole or half sub get another for half price. Italian sub at least 14 inches long stuffed full for 5.96 and a GOT TO HAVE ham and cheese sandwich just as big. Also picked up their signature pizza dough for $1.50. Two giant subs and dough for tonight at $11.50. New owners really taking care of customers!! Dont pass this place up and go to Mancino's just down the street. Half quality subs and pizza at double the price! Way to go Vesuvio's Pizza !!Tops...

We ordered a few pizzas and salads for work.... BEST DECISION. The meat combo was killer, as was the BLT. Let me be clear, I never order BLT pizza's, but I wouldn't hesitate to get this pizza again and again. Everyone in the department had nothing but great things to say and had even talked about ordering it for at home tonight. The salads were also highly praised. Fresh ingredients and plentiful.

Not to mention, the voice on the phone was just as nice as the voice upon pick up. They were both so kind and grateful for your business and it felt WARM and appreciative. Authentic and genuine.

I know I got what I paid for, but it somehow feels like more than...
