Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Indianapolis

If I could give 0 stars I would. I ordered a crunchin cookie blizzard with strawberries and instead was given a butter finger blizzard instead in which I am highly allergic to peanut butter. I didn’t notice until I was driving and took a bite and noticed the butter finger chucks. After given the run around to speak with a manager for two days as other employees advised they were unable to do anything, I call back today to finally get a manager and advised of what happened, and when I say 0% compassion nor care about the fact of this issue, I was met with the manager telling me that because she wasn’t on duty the day I came she can’t offer a refund or remake or nothing! Mind you again I’m allergic to peanut butter! Mr. Neil (owner) I definitely recommend redo of training and how to handle situations like this better. People are always saying they dont go to the dairy queen on MLK due to the lit short caucasian woman has a bad attitude. Well today my family and I witness this first hand. At the drive thru she was very rude & inpatient while we were trying to decide, she started cutting us short. Once we approach the pick up window we notice the order was not right. Upon trying to tell her she started yelling and being very unprofessional, and words were exchanged Telling my family who was in the car behind me after they placed an order that " SHE DIDNT WANT ANOTHER WINDOW BUSTED OUT! Which there was a blue trarp covering half the roof and a window. Her Customer service skills suck!!! I wouldnt be surprised if the window got busted due to her...

Very rude! I left. We missed the drive through lane and pulled in. My son wanted to try the ice cream that you can turn upside down after school. Traffic on MLK drive wasn’t too bad. Instead of a “Hi, welcome to Dairy Queen” I get “IM GOING TO NEED YOU TO PULL AROUND (Into traffic) BECAUSE WE COUNT CARS.” Her tone was terrible and rude.

I let the person know that I’m not going to do that. And they replied, “Well, have a nice day.” So, because I did not feel safe to drive in and out of traffic, this DQ refused to serve me.

After a long day at work that started at 6 am and my son after a day of school, we were not will to risk our lives and give our money for this treatment. My son will grow up with memories of another ice cream...
