Kitley Inn — Restaurant in Indianapolis

Where do I begin with Kitleys? To start, it's located across from the Indianapolis Speedrome. Some of the coolest short track racing happens literally 50 steps from the door. Big plus.

The drinks are strong, the soda machine runs rich and the crowd is colorful, but the FOOD. God in Heaven it's some of the best bar food this side of the Mississip'.

Fat, fresh beef burgers loaded with bacon! Boneless "wings" cut out of whole chicken breast and drowned in delicious sauce. Tenderloin sandwiches to die for! Steak and potatoes to kill for! They have great steaks! A bar! Steaks! I couldn't believe it!

Ladies and gentlemen it is not often I insist on going to a place to eat, drink and be merry, but this is not a drill. If you are in central Indiana for any reason, you must stop here and take in the delights.

I would caution against bringing too much money, as you may accidentally overspend trying to sample it all, but probably the greatest aspect of all is the affordability!

To celebrate my son’s 21st birthday, we took him to Indiana on vacation to the Annual Fall Festival-Makers Market hosted by INDY HAMMERED KNIVES on September 30th. We found the best bar called KITLEY INN on 825 S. Kitley Ave., across from the Indianapolis Speedrome. The bartender, Lori, was so nice and attentive. She was always there right as we finished our beer/drink. We even went back the next evening and Lori remembered us and our beverage order. The food was also fantastic. The place wasn’t super busy, but we went early around 5:00 or 6:00pm and everyone was nice. The other customers even took pictures for us. Me and my wife really dislike these place and the people it draws in.we put our kids to bed at 7pm and every single Thursday bikers ride their loud obnoxious bikes up and down our street,while revving their bikes,racing,and speeding until midnight every single Thursday.i have nothing against anyone for wanting to ride their Harleys and have fun but do that in the country or something not in a rural area where families are trying to live in peace.i love everybody but I really dislike disrespectful inconsiderate...
