Hard to give McDonald's a review because the food's always the same tasteless stuff, even so I went into one at 56th and Michigan road to get breakfast before work, drive through was pretty busy so I decided to go inside. There was another gentleman waiting at the cash register, I got in line behind him, the manager finally came over to take our orders, and gave us some static about not having their order app on our telephone and that they were under staffed, now, mind you we were in line for a couple of minutes which was no big deal, and no one was complaining about it taking too long, he took our orders after he felt we were properly chastised for not having this ridiculous app on our phone, that allowed us to order from the kiosk 5 ft away from where we were standing, honestly I don't need that app because I don't have any intention of going back there again, I can give you other horror stories of experiences I've had with this McDonald's because I work right up the street but I'll bring my own lunch to work now that way I don't have to worry about ruffling this guy's feathers, I don't have to bother him with being a customer in his store, because apparently me and one other guy totally stressed him out. In the interest of total fairness, however I must say that the lady that's usually in the window on the drive-thru generally does a pretty great job, too bad this happened Tuesday, I'm going to miss doing business with her. Read moreOnly one star b/c it would not allow me to add 0. Manager??? Who knows if there is one?? This McDonald's has a double drive-thru which apparently no one knows how to use. When i pulled up to order. I never received a greeting. I waited a minute or 3 before saying hello...nothing. Waited another minute still no answer...on my lane. The speaker came on in the next lane. They ordered. Then it was my turn, right? NO! They took the order of the next lane again. Then i heard a voice on my speaker. It said "hello, please wait. Sorry" Then guess what happened. Nothing at least on my speaker. They came on the speaker next to me and took their order again. I drove around to the window. She tried to confirm my order and i told her no my order was never taken. She apologized and asked if i wanted to order. I declined. U don't complain then order food. She asked if i would like to speak to the manager. I replied I'll pull forward and speak to her. I went to next window and waited for another 2 minutes until the girl opened the window and tried to give me food. I said i wanted to speak to the manager. She went to get her and came back informed me that the manager asked me to come inside b/c she was busy and it would be a couple of minutes. Read moreI have to agree with one of the reviews. This place is definitely a hit or miss. Last visit of mine is definitely the last time. I dealt with the rudest staff who happens to be the manager. There was another employee who was present and witnessed how this manager treated me badly, took my receipt, told me to leave and slammed the window. This women's behavior was so unprofessional that no way you could discuss matter in a civilized manner. I came back to drive through and dealt with the employee that witnessed the incident. I asked him if I could get the receipt she took from me. I then asked him if that woman was really the manager. He said yes. I asked him what is her name. He told me that she told him not to give her name. I called the phone number of the manager from the receipt and reported the incident. No phone call back. Clearly this McDonald's simply do not value customera service. I have lots of patience so delay and even error on my orders are acceptable to me. I don't expect perfection at any McDonald's. However, rude behavior is totally unacceptable. Kudos to the young gentleman who witnessed this incident. He has waited on me in the past and he was always professional and polite. Perhaps this place should take a page in customer service from other McDonald's...
