Food is OK for as far as McDonald's food can be. To judge this McDonald's Im doing a scale from 1-10 (10 is best quality that a McDonald's can offer, and 1 is the worst quality a McDonald's can offer). Food is a 3-5, this locations food changes from each time I go, but never gets past average McDonald's quality, more often then not the fries will be cold or the oil needs changed the fries are at best ok sometimes but are never great. Same go's for sandwiches burgers and chicken, sometime they are not warm enough to melt the cheese, sometimes the burgers are greasy and the bums soak up the Greece, most of time the sandwiches are thrown together, frappes are most 3 out of 5 times either melted too much or not blended enough with chunks of ice at bottom and inconsistent amounts of whip cream and syrup in the frappes, coffee can be cold or Luke warm if you like a good number of creams and sugar in your cup. 4 out of 5 times expect to wait in drive thru longer than normal expectation times and also expect to be ignored several times if you order inside trying to get order, just know workers will look at you several times but just long enough so you feel like your intentionally being ignored or like they are a animal in the wild trying not to be spotted by humans, lol. Also I think most of the employees do not know how to respond to a "thank you", or "have a good night , nice...
Read moreToday I had a wholly unacceptable experience with this establishment. I do not post negative reviews because I work in a service industry. I know the power that a negative review can have. What I experienced today was a tremendous miss in customer satisfaction. It was such a large miss that I feel compelled to share it with the public. My hot cakes were served without syrup. As this was a drive thru situation, I drove all the way home before realizing that the syrup was missing. I drove back to the store. I asked for them to remake the hot cakes because those cakes were no longer hot and certainly would be cold by the time I returned home. I was told that I could pay for new cakes. The manager said that there was nothing he could do. I assure you that he could have made a decision to make the situation right by simply remaking that portion of my order wherein there was store error. Instead, I, the paying customer, was told to eat cold hot cakes OR spend more money repurchasing hot cakes. I drive by this store at least twice a week. I have purchased food here before with less than outstanding service. However, I keep a low bar when judging fast food. I will never purchase food from this...
Read moreI love this McDonald’s! I only come at night (usually between 10pm and 1am) and the people who work at night are great. Probably the only fast food location where employees actually say please and thank you and don’t seem annoyed 24/7.
Food is almost always hot and my order has been correct every time I go through (I only do mobile orders FWIW) which is probably 3-5 times a week so definitely not just a one off occurrence!
They’ve been closed before due to lack of staff; people who complain about this have obviously never been to a McDonald’s that doesn’t close regardless of staffing (16th and Meridian anyone?). I’d absolutely rather be told they’re closed than wait an hour like the one downtown. I actually drive to this one FROM downtown just to avoid that one and still save time even with the driving distance.
Line is usually long but moves at a steady pace. It is definitely a weird spot to have a drive through because it blocks gas station customers from going through but that’s not the employees’ faults.
I’ll continue to come to this one over the one at 16th and Meridian, even though it’s about 5 miles...
