This is my third time at Tequilas Jalisco and I thought it was finally time to leave a review. My first experience was mostly great! First we ordered the Queso Fundido as an appetizer and while the flavor was great we didn't think the amount of food we got was worth the price. But my meal was fantastic! I ordered the Fajitas Hawaiianas which came in a pineapple bowl and the flavors were extremely pleasant!! This I would 100% order again and recommend! I also tried the Chile Rellano a la carte which was really good! So good I decided to look for it as a meal the next time I went. The service and atmosphere this day was a bit chaotic as it was their second day being open so it was busy and hectic but nothing too crazy to report! My second time coming here was a little less enjoyable than the first. We got chips and queso as an appetizer which other than the queso being a bit runny we definitely enjoyed the flavor and will order this again in the future! My meal was the Chile Poblano Jalisco and this is where I was slightly disappointed. The Chile Poblano did not seem any different than the Chile Rellano I ordered the last time which wasn't bad as I loved the Chile Rellano, however this meal said it came with Chorizo on top and I had no Chorizo on my plate at all. It also came with shaved Ribeye which, while the flavor was awesome, it was less meat than I'd hoped for and overall felt my meal would be better if I chose another dish in the future. Service was getting better this week, and I was still excited to come back again. Today was the 5 star day though! I ordered the Burrito Megalodon (seen pictured) and I think I've found my go to order from now on! The meats inside this monstrosity were absolutely bursting with flavor, and the chimichurri sauce on top had such a unique kick I had to ask for more on the side just so I could keep that flavor exploding with every bite! This Burrito is not to be passed up on! Our waitress today was the most friendly, kind waitress I've experienced in a very long time. She was attentive to our needs and quick to produce the requests we had. I felt very much like family here tonight! Sure there were bumps along the way when this restaurant first opened but I think they are on the right track now and fully deserve this Five Star Rating! TLDR: Everything is improving! Food is amazing! Servers are friendly and attentive! Recommended dishes: Fajitas Hawaiianas and Burrito Megalodon!!

BEWARE if you have food restrictions! Party of 6. At first it would be a 45 minute wait but then they were able to squeeze us at a 4 person table which was great. Took a while to get water and for them to get our order. I explained I had a severe shellfish allergy, which they said would be ok with the vegetarian dish I ordered. Thankfully that was fine. I asked for corn tortillas but received flour, but thankfully I'm ok to eat flour. I had asked for extra tortillas partway through my meal and never received them. My mom has a severe bell pepper intolerance. Unlike myself with an allergy relieved with Benadryl, hers is a two day torture on the toilet with vomiting and diarrhea. She ordered salmon, and explained she could have no bell peppers and questioned them on the ingredients in the cheese sauce as well as the rice. The veggies listed on the menu said they would be broccoli, carrots, and cauliflower. She waited about 10 minutes after the rest of us had gotten our food before she got hers but we had to flag a server down. She ate her dish and after she'd eaten about half she realized that there was a stray bell pepper mixed with her veggies. Even just prep/cooktop cross contamination will send her into severe GI distress. So, with two restrictions in our party, only half were correctly accommodated for. And now my mom will miss a day of work and pay tomorrow. Eat at your own risk. And honestly, a little pricey for what you get.

I've been to Tequilas Jalisco twice since they opened and I have not been disappointed! I will caution new patrons that it is a brand new business and very busy so wait and service times can be a little on the longer end. Please bring your patience because it is worth it! I have tried the Jalisco Especial and the Chori Pollo. Both were fantastic, though the Chori Pollo especially is something I will be getting again. The chicken in both dishes is absolutely delicious. On both occasions my girlfriend got one of the combos and she agrees with me that their food is tasty! And she appreciated that you can take your margarita to go. They're pricey but huge! I'm sure they'll hammer out some of the kinks as they get more experience and wait times will drop but as it stands it is more than worth the wait.

My family and I were excited to try this place out given its long anticipated opening and the positive reviews so we decided to try it for dinner tonight. We were sat pretty quick which is great and our drinks came fast, we told the server we needed a few minutes to decide on our order and we didn’t see him again for 15 minutes. I ordered the quesabirrias and my wife ordered the chicken fajita, our food took 45 minutes to come out and our server never once came over to assure it was being worked on or given an acknowledgment that it was taking a long time which goes a long way. We sat down at 4:30 and I understand it was a Saturday and they’re newly opened so some grace is put forward given those circumstances, but my dinner lacked flavor entirely. The rice and beans were cold and without season, the tacos I ordered were hot but tasted like nothing at all. Her food had flavor but lacked salt and she was only given a teaspoon of sour cream and guacamole which for a whole chicken fajita meal isn’t close to being enough. I am going to go back during lunch time in a few weeks and give it another try because I don’t feel a place is condemned after one experience but my wife had written them off in her book. The highlight of the whole experience were the homemade tortillas my wife got with her meal. This is not an attack on the business but we are honest people and honesty is a meal...
