Fireside Bistro — Restaurant in Indianola

Im giving this review with the understanding they were busy today. I'm giving 3 stars for the service, but only because I stood at the front entryway waiting to be greeted/seated, yet no one ever approached me. It was a bit awkward having everyone in the cafe looking at me as I waited. It wasn't until another couple walked in and seated themselves that I realized we could seat ourselves. I love what they have done with having a cafe as an extension on the church. It's honestly most of the reason I chose to visit. *I came back to update my review because after I submitted my review, the owners of the business showed up and started helping take care of people. I can really respect that. Amazing place. Will return. Recommend a simple sign at the entry that says to seat yourself....

Came here with a friend to try out, so pleasantly surprised! Dining area was very clean with banquet linens. Our server was Stacey, very friendly and kind. We both got the Fireside flapjacks....YUM! Came back the following week with my husband. I got the flapjacks again, he got the putzel breakfast sandwich - incredible! Prices are so reasonable and service was extraordinary! We can't wait to come back and try the biscuits and gravy, and the breakfast skillet! Thank you Fireside Bistro! Well...

Well I can't give any stars on the atmosphere service or food for some reason Google maps is telling me this place is open on Monday but I get here and it's closed so I'm going to give it a three star and I will retry it and then I will update my opinion on the place once I should try the food so that just sucks that it says that it's open today...
