UPDATE: Within only a few hours of leaving a review, the owner called me to ask about my experience. He sincerely listened and apologized and worked to make it right. I really appreciated his professionalism and willingness to listen and work towards improvement. Maybe I will try another Jack’s. ———————————— AWFUL! This is one of the worst fast food restaurants that I've ever been to. We dropped in while on the way home from a road trip and our first impression was with a personality-less cashier who clearly would rather be anywhere but at that counter. No smile, no "hello", no acknowledgement at all. While ordering small fries, I was bluntly informed that they were out of small fry containers so I'd be charged for a large because that's all they had! What kind of customer service is that? Rather, the lack thereof! No, thanks! So, I changed it to cole slaw. Our order was taking a long time so I finally approached the counter. It took the 'manager' 5 minutes to even acknowledge me and she asked what I was waiting on. I told her and apparently our order had been lost because she looked confused. She put it all together, sans the cole slaw, of course, and we ate our mediocre meal. Upon finishing, I approached the counter again for a tea refill. There was no one else in line so I stood, empty, lidless cup in hand, ready to hand it over for more tea, and the counter workers busied themselves with anything BUT noticing me and my obvious request. Made a stop on our travels through Belzoni and wanted to get lunch. The restaurant was not crowded. We noticed about 3-4 cars in the drive-through. We stood at the counter for 4-7 minutes without any of the employees moving all around the front & drive-through area acknowledging our presence, much less waiting on us. There appeared to be at least 5 or 6 workers. Another group, that had already eaten, walked up & joined our wait. Ice cream girl just kept dipping and the other employees made no eye contact. Looks like a new restaurant and was so very clean. Need to work on those soft skills like smiling at and acknowledging customers. It will go far in making the wait worth staying. I would like to place an order here, yet there is no easy way to do so on their App or at their website that I can determine. There is no comprehensive list of menu items or prices. Even this profile doesn't have a Menu section or photos of the menu items. My location is barely a mile away, yet they don't offer Delivery at all. I am handicapped, without transportation of my own, currently, so I can't cover the distance on foot. This should be far more convenient. Even Walmart in Yazoo City is able to Deliver to Belzoni now. Some of my relatives have got food to go and brought it by the house in times past. It was always fresh, hot, and tasty. I want a way to get it without bothering...
