Polo Pizza Company — Restaurant in Indio

We've had numerous pizzas at Polo Pizza and has historically been great pizza. But tonight was simply not good. We called in a takeout order and was told upon our phone order that it would be 45min. Fine, We weren't in a rush. I arrived at 35 minutes after our order, paid and took my pizza. But upon arrival at home and opening the box, the pizza was mostly cold, toppings were half slid off the top into the side of the box and the dough was chewy. My drive home was less than 5 minutes so I know it was cold when I picked it up. I should have noticed before I got in the car. I understand it's hard to predict cook time, but this was a real...

For Polo Pizza, not Tack Room Tavern. Ordered a pizza, at pickup time they called to say they forgot my order and to pick it up an hour later. Arrived and still waited an offensively long time in front with no one working the takeout desk for more than 3 minutes total. In all, waited 2 hours for an 'average' pizza, and receiving no service. Nor are there any speciality/creative pizzas other than date and 'make your own'. No wonder we always order from Stuft Pizza 3x...

Had an issue with some of the food being undercooked and they gave me a refund over the phone, so I'm giving their service and atmosphere a high rating.

The pizzas I tried I still didn't like even though they were cooked properly. Kind of plain sauces, dough was a bit chewy. Just not my taste I guess.

Everyone I talk to says good things about the food here, I really wanted to like it. I'd go back to try something else in the future if one of my friends...
