Starbucks — Restaurant in Indio

Indio had a high of 115F the day I stopped by and this Starbucks location relieved me of my thirst and heat.

+2 stars: I got my usual matcha green tea latte with soy and no ice. The friendly staff double checked (at the register) and triple checked (by the barista) to make sure that I wanted a cold matcha green tea latte without ice. The drink came out perfect and fast. The staff worked well with each other behind the counter. Many patrons came in to pick up their to go orders and leave.

+1 star: The large seating area for this Starbucks location was well-lit. Many patrons came in to chat and have their coffee. There is outdoor seating, but it is just too hot, even at around 8am. The day I went, the outside temperature at 8am was easily in the 90s.

+1 star: Two restrooms were clean, no pin codes needed. This was helpful especially after my two hours nonstop driving.

+1 star: Fast wifi log in when I needed to work for just a short while. The air conditioning was on blast and that felt good when thw outside temperature was 90s and 100s. There were enough parking spots in the lot for indoor dining or online order pick up. There is also a drive through for those who don't wish to step out into the heat.

This is the nastiest Starbucks I’ve ever been to! I took pictures of the bathroom I will find a way to upload here. No toilet paper, fecal matter all over the toilet in & out. Floor looked like a dirty wet dog came in and shook everywhere! Mirror was disgusting & foggy. Staff was rude. The girl making the drinks was just loudly talking bad about another employee to another lady in the back stocking making my checkout awkward. Food is delicious. Time is pretty quick on preparing drinks and food. Only problem is they don’t announce the names of individuals orders so if you’re distracted like me by the music and things going on in your life, your drinks and your food could be sitting there for 30 minutes or so, or if not more. also, when I started speaking this out loud because I’m doing this review out loud with the microphone they’re speaking about me negatively.
