Decent place for bar food and hang out. Haven't tried the pizza yet but hear only good things. Update 2023: Pizza is good, as is most of the menu. Menu is overpriced for bar food. $17 for a grilled chicken sandwich and fries cost extra is ridiculous. Specials are usually decent, prime rib is a favorite. Its a fun place that often has something for entertainment. Service is good but it's often busy. Jennifer does a great job behind the bar.

Ordered BBQ beef nachos & club sandwich w/sweet potato fries. Onion ring appetizer was a good portion. Each meal was enough for at least 2 ppl. Nothing special about the onion rings but the meals were excellent! Shredded beef was seasoned with the BBQ sauce not just poured on it. Makes a difference. Club was packed with meat.

Super clean bar and bathrooms. Great menu options and food was outstanding. Small living gem hidden in the middle of nowhere. If you happen to see it while driving through the small town of 10 buildings you wont be disappointed stopping here.

Came here at 10:45am on Sunday for breakfast. Was busy I will give them that. There was four empty tables that had not been cleared off, we stood by a table that needed to be cleared off. The owners daughter watched us but didn’t offer to clean off the table. After 5 minutes, We sat down anyway hoping once we did, someone would clean the table off. One person took the glasses, but did not take the old check and tip and did not wipe down the table. Owners daughter, Karley, tried to put down menus and new silverware without clearing off the table/taking the old check. I stopped her and asked her to clean the table first. She had a bit of an attitude but cleaned it off. Took our drink order. Slammed my coffee cup down. Was not nice to me. My boyfriend ordered a tall can of miller lite, she gave him draft. Okay, fine. Had to ask for menus after 20 minutes. Food took 45 minutes. For eggs. Food arrived cold and the eggs were severely undercooked, white of eggs were not cooked at all. My boyfriend’s meal had things in it he asked not to be in it. Waitress never checked in about food so we could say we were disappointed. Overall, service and food were terrible. We’ve been boycotting this place for months after we’ve noticed the decline but decided to come back to give it a try, needless to say, we won’t be back. Very sad to see how the new owners have brought this place into the ground over the last year. UPDATE: Karley backtalked my table when giving us the check. Her comments raised eyebrows to the table behind us enough for the lady behind us to make a comment to us about Karley’s behavior. I filed a complaint with the...

Read all the way to the end, this covers multiple times. November 2021 Good food good service good price. Waitress Trish was GREAT! You have to try the loaded potatoes! What a great concoction. Our group had the cod, a Philly steak sandwich and a burrito. Every bit of it was great. The burrito was crazy huge. The portions were large. There were a couple of different sections to the building. We were there in November and it looks like it would a fun place to be in the summer with with the rollup garage type doors. Try this place you will be pleasantly surprised. Update, 2/24/2022 I went there and had an Italian grinder, great meal! Really if you haven't been here you need to try it out. Waitress Amanda was awesome also! 4/28/2022 I had the Ruben, it was great! Don't be afraid if they ask you if you want chips. Their chips are thinly sliced potatotes deepfried to a wonderful crisp outside and a thin and soft center! They were delicious! The Wooden Nickel should have this as their signature food because it was just that good! 7/11/22 Monday was PACKED! Service was seriously non existant. We left after 20 minutes waiting for our drink order. There were other tables that were there before us without drink orders. I understand that Monday night is your busy night but you really need more help. We saw 2 other couples walk out so we weren't the only ones that noticed the...

The food was good, but the service was sorely lacking. We arrived at 7:10 and left at 8:50. It took 15 minutes for them to even see our group of 6 waiting to be served, even then we had to flag the bartender to be noticed. They forgot one order altogether. When they noticed that, the rest of us were already done (they didnt check on us till then). He then said never mind, but they still brought it later. One of us also had a to go order that they forgot to put down, so after paying we had to wait another 20 minutes for that to come out. They did comp their meals to make amends. The waitress tried hard, but just didnt cut it, although she stayed really pleasant. The staff is new, so they need more time/experience. At this point it seems like management needs to do more training and set clear expectations. I think the staff will respond well to that. Managemnt must accept the responsibility for the service and need to take control of that and monitor what is happening during dinner service, providing immediate feedback to staff. A focus on customer service is needed. Will we be back? I think so, but not for a long time while the staff gains in...
