Changed from 2 to 1 star: Walked in and nobody said anything to me for 5 minutes. I just watched them walk back and forth and not even acknowledge me or the guy who walked in behind me. The girl was just filling BBQ sauce and didn't even say hello, while everybody else joked and laughed on the opposite side of the door we can all see through. The pop machines never work, so they just buy 2 liters from the store next door, and fill up your cup. So you might just want to go to the store yourself smh Orig: If you want your food to be ready 30 minutes after you order it over the phone, don't go here. If you want the staff to be apologetic or to care remotely, don't go here. But if you want 50 wings for $45, I guess you could go here.

Ordered a bunch of food. Some legs and thighs, some jumbo shrimp, some Mac n cheese, some jalapeño poppers and then a peach cobbler. The chicken was dry and the drumsticks looked like the chickens died of anorexia. And I saw the person take the Mac n cheese and the peach cobbler and put them in a microwave right in front of me. The Mac n cheese looked like it was a day or two old and the peach cobbler looked like a soggy nightmare. The jalapeño poppers were soggy on the inside like they were previously frozen. And the shrimp were mediocre with soggy breading. Food overall was terrible. Don't eat at a place that microwaves old food for you.

lol where do I start? No one was at counter so I had to call and get 3 workers to come from the same area. (Mean while the cook just drank his drink and watched us wait). Captain Jays now gives their customers 60% less fries inside a small, cute container(pic provided) and now charges $2 more for the combo just to give less food. Let’s not even talk about my whole meal being cold. Not gonna lie, I’ll never come back. You’d be better off finding you a good gas station with good chicken and rock with that. Don’t come here if you get the combo meals.

I went there yesterday with my grandson and we actually waited an hour or so for our food. I went inside to make our order and then I came back within 15 minutes to pay for it. I figured it would be up in another 15 minutes or so. I was so wrong. They were not that busy, at the most, there was never any more than 3 folks in line inside or at the drive-thru. I saw a few drive-thru potential customers drive off. I suppose that knew that if it takes forever to place your order, it certainly will take forever to receive it. After waiting nearly a half hour, I suggested that they should offer us a courteousy drink for our wait. They looked at me as if I was out of my mind. Finally, we received our order and noticed that they shorted us our coleslaw once we got home. We were too hungry and too tired to go back to them and wait another hour to inform them. I will have to be mighty desperate to go back...

We went to this establishment on thanksgiving. We are from Chicago and came to watch the Bears vs Lions game. We came in and ordered. The young lady didn’t even ask us if we wanted our order for take out or to eat there. She automatically placed it in to go containers. When I asked for plates and napkins and silverware, the young man asked if we were trying to eat there since they were closing at 7pm. It was 6:30pm when we go our food. I asked for plates and silverware again and the young man said they didn’t have any. Then my dad asked for napkins and both employees ignored him. I'm only going to say this because of HOW MUCH I love Captain Jays food. I need this location to get it together !!! Because I don't want this location to get shut down !! I need y'all to stay LOL! You customer service is great! No problem there! Your cleanliness is great! Your food is great! Buuuuut ! Here it comes!! You all CONSISTENTLY get orders wrong!!! AND when someone places and order over the phone in hopes that the order will be READY when they get there ITS NOT! I'll place an order and take 20-30 minutes to get to y'all and the order is not even ready thej I have to wait an additional 20 minutes I didn't count for!
