Wally’z Grill — Restaurant in Inkster

I was pleasantly surprised by this little spot. Was on my home from work after a crappy shift and thought eh why not let's try this place out. Little did I know it was one of the best burgers I ever had. They do smash style burgers and I tried the Wally. The bread quality was nice , meat was cooked well and it had cheese sticks and onion rings on it. It was pretty damn good.

I also have to praise the cheese sticks and onion rings. I tried it as a way to gauge how much this place cared about the quality of its sides. The batter for the onion rings was crispy and seasoned great without being too salty. And the cheese sticks hands down blows any fast food place out of the water. The cheese was fresh and had that great cheese pull to it with every bite. Would recommend and will be back. Food was insanely delicious: the chicken rice bowl, beef shawarma, and fries were all made so well - even the rice was addicting. My one criticism was the beef shawarma felt pretty small for the price. I do appreciate how they chop it up in to bite size pieces. The first time I went the food took way longer than 15 mins to be prepared but the last time I went it was ready in less than 15 mins, it is awesome how quickly that has improved. Also the location on google maps was wrong the first time I went but now Google maps is showing the correct location. They gave me the wrong smash burger. Mine should have had cheese, grilled onions, lettuce. I got nothing but cheese n lettuce. My ceaser salad was made with iceberg lettuce shredded up. I ordered regular curly fries they gave me chicken in them and charged for it. I wanted the works on my burger n got wilted lettuce. I don't think it was bad but sure wasn't what I expected. Disappointed since most of the reviews were good. Dunno if I will give them another try since my order was 28.00 plus tip and got no more than I would five guys or anywhere else that offers burgers.
