Waitress was friendly but not helpful ... I tried to ask about 3 different menu items and wasn't able to get an answer about 2 and then the info about the third was wrong. Food was horrible!! Appetizer (fried mushrooms) came to the table not only still cold my mother bite into one that had ice in it. When our entrees finally came to the table my sandwich (a Reuben) looked horrible, but I decided I would at least try it.... Ugghh ... It tasted disgusting! My mothers entree (chipped beef with potatoes and gravy) came to the table cold ... I even tested the potatoes for temperature (stuck my finger in them). She told our waitress who said that the warming table must not be working and took my Mothers dish back to the kitchen. Waitress (we never were told her name) brings my mother different potatoes but same beef and gravy plate., that is fine whatever; my mother tried to eat her lunch but after 2 bites said she couldn't eat it the potatoes were now warm but not hot, and chipped beef was lukewarm. The waitress offered to "microwave" the entire dish, but my mother was done eating altogether. I was able maintain myself while we were there BUT.... this place is disgusting in every single way possible: the food horrible, coffee horrible, on top of which the entire diner looked dirty. The waitress was friendly enough when she came to our table, but she never checked on in on us in between our drink order, appetizer order (and then after we received it corrected), or the main course ... I would not recommend eating or even just getting...

Nanna's is the perfect small town cafe where you feel at home and part of the community. Everyone is pleasant and the service is great! Great home cooking and breakfast is always delicious! Have been there several times in the past few months and can honestly say that we have never been disappointed! Highly recommend and well worth a visit! 😊✨

Review update: 9/6/23 Not sure if the staff at Nanna's is going through some hard days lately and we still would highly recommend as their food is always on point and absolutely delicious! It would be great however to get a nice greeting and a smile once in a while! We eat there at least twice a week and have pretty much become regulars since moving to the area yet rarely get a smile or a hello. As a business owner I understand that sometimes there are just bad days... however customer relations is very important and a simple hello and a smile speaks volumes ā˜ŗļø Customers don't want to feel unwelcome or like they're bothering you when they visit your establishment. That's all šŸ˜‰ Still LOVE Nanna's and will continue to visit and recommend! Have a Blessed...

Stopped for breakfast because the reviews looked promising. Got an ā€œInterlachen omeletteā€ with 3 meats, veggies, potatoes and gravy. It was $15 and comes with either biscuit or toast AND hash browns or home fries. It was great and filling.

The other meal we got was a specialty ā€œhurricane burgerā€ with grilled onions and 3 fried pickle chips and came with a choice of potatoes. It tasted great but was VERY small for the price ($14). Would not have gotten the burger had we known how small it was. Was still hungry afterwards.

The sub total for our meal including a cup of coffee ($2.75) came to $34.90 and then we added a $5.24 tip bringing it to $40.14. We didn’t feel the specialty burger was worth the value but would try this place again because the service was great, the food is tasty and the other diners were friendly and talkative giving it the classic, good ol’...

Upon entrance, the restaurant smelled like mildew. Ordered 2 biscuits and gravy, the biscuits were in crumbles ( not really sure if it was 2 biscuits or not) and overdone. Found 3 pieces of sausage in the entire plate. Wasn’t impressed. Bacon was very crispy and pretty good, but it was $3 for 3 pieces of bacon 😳. My son ordered French toast which he enjoyed but said it was still doughy in the middle. Our waitress was very nice. Overall, I think it was middle-of-the-road ā€œokā€, but next time we will probably choose to go back to Tru Grits Restaurant just a few minutes away. The price was good. I just wished it was better quality food& smelled less of mildew when walking inside.

Due to COVID, I didn't want to eat inside, despite 6-foot distancing measures already taken by the owners. I also didn't want take-out, due to styrofoam NEVER decomposing, and it was sprinkling, so eating on the outside bench was out, as well. I wanted to eat in the cab of my truck on real plates with real silverware. They know me, so that may have helped the trust factor, and this is an unlikely request, anyway. Even so, they very pleasantly let me do it, and it made my morning. It felt like I'd (safely!) gone out to eat. My order was delicious and exactly, as requested... Eggs OM, grits, rye toast with STRAWBERRY jam, side of home fries. Delicious!
