These guys are doing it right! They've got great tacos, quesadillas, tortas, fajitas, burritos, nachos, and more. You need to try their alambres. It includes your choice of meat with vegetables, cheese and tortillas to make your own tacos. Fantastic!! They currently have two salsas. The red (salsa roja) has a nice bite. The green salsa (salsa verde) is fresh, cool and delicious on all of their food. The have a nice selection of meats including steak, chicken, shrimp, al pastor (pork with tons of flavor!) and a barbacoa (shredded beef) that is incredible! If you like guacamole, you'll love theirs. It's always made to order. You probably come back just for the guacamole! Lastly, These guys offer daily specials that include sopas (like a thick, crispy tortilla shell piled with beans, cheese, meat, salsa and more!), and banana leaf wrapped tamales. Yes, banana leaves! Unbelievable flavor! They don't serve alcohol, but you can get real Mexican Coke in a bottle and a choice of Jaritos. If you'd like a beer with your tacos, La Bamba is park right next to Trail Liquors. Convenient! You can get anything to go or you can stay and hang out at the picnic tables under the trees. I hate to be the first non-5 star review here, because the food itself is amazing. Definitely the best Mexican food around and rivals El Saizon in terms of tacos.

The reason for 4/5 stars is because I have been going here on and off over the last 3 years and unfortunately the portion size of the burrito has gone down. I previously left a 5 star review a few years back saying the burrito was two meals for me. Now, the size is a comfortable single meal. It also no longer comes with a side of chips.

I've driven by too many times without stopping here and so glad that we finally did. We had the 3 taco combo, 2 chicken, and one pastor, along with a side of guac. The ingredients are very fresh and of high quality, presentation was excellent and everything tasted fantastic. Its clear the owners are passionate about their craft, and want the best for their customers. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to try other items...
