Copper Cup — Restaurant in Ironwood

The line of cars was always quite long when we drove by but thought we'd give this place a chance due to the amazing ratings. 15+ min later we made it to the front. Good heavens this place was not built for efficiency. The staff were friendly but the espresso machine is right there creating excessive noise, so much in fact the young lady taking our order got our requests wrong numerous times straining to hear.

Some other issues were the two hot mocha lattes had zero chocolate taste at all for the milk or dark chocolate version. Honestly didn't have much of a coffee flavor either. I could barely drink half. The lid on one cup wouldn't stay on and resulted in a bit of a mess in our vehicle. The cold latte we ordered was ok. Nothing special.

Staff who took our order used a touch pad/tablet, then took my credit card, then used those same hands and fingers to press down on the lid of our coffee cups. No gloves. No washing. It didn't appear that anything was sanitized between customers. Just something to consider in these fun Covid times.

For almost $17 and 3 drinks I was expecting to have my socks knocked off but instead felt cheated. I'm all for supporting local businesses but it's a hard pass on this place if we ever make it back...

we came here randomly and was surprised at how busy it was! We didn't know it was drive thru only, but it's a cool concept and they get the drinks out lightning fast, barely a wait time at all, faster than any coffee place I've been to!

the barista working the counter gave us their drink recommendation ( HOT LUMBERJACK) and it was very good! like French toast, it was described to us, and they were spot on! excellent recommendation.

I had a chai and it was really tasty! i got it with both spice and vanilla.

the best part, they gave us a pup cup for our dog, and it had little dog bone sprinkles! it was such a nice touch.

truly, really nice people work here, friendly and know a thing or two about drink...

I absolutely LOVE this place. The workers are very friendly and happily answer any questions you may have. You can customize and create any drink to suit your taste buds or select from one of their delicious signature drinks. The grandma's hot apple pie cider was heavenly and with a little whipped cream and caramel it tastes just like pie ala mode. Even when they have a line it moves quickly and one of the best things is their website has a live link to view their nest camera overlooking the shop and line so you can plan accordingly.
