Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Irvine

WOW this was painful. Go to drive thru and ask for a Grilled chicken sandwich with Chicken and cheese only. The person at the speaker that can barely speak English shows a breakfast sandwich on the screen. I said no not the breakfast sandwich, the sourdough grilled chicken sandwich with just chicken and cheese only. After I said it 4 more times she got it on the screen. Then says do you want tomato? I said no Chicken and Cheese only. She says, do you want Lettuce? I said no CHICKEN AND CHEESE ONLY. She says is your order correct on the screen? I said no I don’t want the breakfast sandwich. She says, you don’t want the chicken sandwich? I said I ONLY WANT 1 SOURDOUGH CHICKEN SANDWICH WITH CHICKEN AND CHEESE ONLY. So, she finally gets it along with my fries and drink. Move to the window she hands me the drink with no straw and then proceeds to work on something like restocking napkins. I finally get her attention and ask; can I get some straws? She says yes, and then goes back to finishing her napkin work. Finally, she hands me straws and then grabs our food and were on our way. My son opens his CHICKEN & CHEESE ONLY sandwich to find BACON melted into the cheese. Definitely 5 out of five for this Jack in the Box! (Atmosphere was one star off as the tables needed cleaning off.) HOWEVER, the service was top-notch thanks to Ludy! She was wonderful! Efficient, friendly, big bright smile and a great attitude! She even steered me to the best priced deal! I hope you let her know and commend her for her excellent customer service. She made sure I was well taken care of and I watched her help everyone with the same kindness and efficiency! Go Ludy! The food was hot, fresh, ample and fast! This particular location’s morning crew is HORRIBLE. Every time I go there’s something missing or wrong and the workers attitudes are consistently bad. I ordered 2 supreme croissant combos and requested that they sub out the hash brown for curly fries, which they did not do until i had to go back in and ask for it. I get to the window and the lady working puts the drink on the edge of the counter. Normally your drinks are handed to you.. I asked her if she could hand them to me and she said “Are you going to grab it?” She just stared at me so I opened my car door, got out, and grabbed it myself. same thing with the food.
