Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Irvine

I generously give this Pizza Shop one star and I wish I could give even less. I ordered an online pizza on July 7,2021 for my son who was at home and was waiting for his lunch while I was at work. After an hour once my son didn’t receive the food, I tried calling them and I dialed their number five times while I was at work and very busy with my classes and duty but they never picked up the phone. On the same day later in the evening I sent them an email but there was no reply at all. After three days one of the neighbors left a moldy pizza at my doorstep mentioning that they left this pizza at their doorstep!!! I again sent them an email about what happened but again I never received any reply from them. The summary of my experience with this food store is: losing $30 Not receiving the food Making seven times unanswered calls and emails Receiving a moldy pizza at my doorstep after three days by one of the neighbors due to their delivery guy mistake And my advice to everyone is: NEVER EVER TRY PAPA JOHN’S JEFFRY ROAD IRVINE. A DISASTROUS SERVICE AND CUSTOMER CARE THAT I’VE EVER TRIED...

The worst pizza experience I’ve ever had. First pizza was so burned I’m shocked it was sent out. The lid had half the cheese stuck to it. My wife pointed out they must have flipped it and opened the box to check...AND IT WAS BLACK AND STILL SENT! We called and were told another pizza would take an hour OR we could get a “free” pizza some other time. How about you give me the pizza I paid for?! So just over an hour later the pizza in the picture is delivered. (I gave back the first pizza) Wife calls and politely informs them this pizza is also burned and asks to ONLY be refunded for the pizza. Alas, there system won’t allow a refund but we’ve been offered another “free” pizza at a later date. Hey jerks...it’s not free when I paid overprice for it!!!! My wife says it would be “unreasonable” for me to go to your location in person for a good pizza I paid for, so now I’m about to wash my mouth out (from that one bite) with Del Taco. Thanks for...

Their delivery drivers are out of control. Where do they get these yahoos? One time one of their delivery drivers used the bicycle lane to go around a long line of stopped traffic. Today, one of their delivery drivers in an older grey Mercedes made an illegal and dangerous U turn, (big sign there, No U Turn) but he couldn't complete his foolish U-turn because a car was coming the other way. So he wrenched his wheel at the last second to his left to avoid an accident. Those are just two incidents that I happened to see. How many more are happening? Probably much more. The manager there says that she has talked to their drivers, but that's about all she can do. How about discipline that if unheeded leads to termination? It a not rocket science, just Management 101.
