We were driving from the Tri-Cities to Boise and were looking for a burger joint randomly. We ran across Mom'Ma Bear's Burgers online. The reviews were 4.9 stars, so we decided to stop. The selection of burgers was overwhelming. Dan and Mom'ma Bear Brandy were so friendly, and they greeted us like long-lost friends. We love that! They suggested their top burgers, so from that list, we ordered the Ooey-Gooey Burger, the Smokey Bear burger, and the Mom'ma's loaded tots. Let's say we were blown over with flavor and toppings. They shared their mission to have a full bite of toppings with each bite. They have succeeded!! The ooey-gooey was soaking in cheese and toppings. They gave us plenty of napkins, wipes, and a bib, so you're prepared to dive in. My Smokey Bear burger was perfect! The balance of burger, tomato, lettuce, and other toppings were perfect. When you think of a loaded burger that's satisfying, this place will deliver!!! It was a pretty busy place, too. They take online orders. But, keep in mind, when they're up to their elbows taking orders from a long line of customers, they can't get to the phone, so just drive up, you won't be disappointed!! These burgers are made to order and worth the wait!! What a neat place. You know me, I LOVE keeping my reviews local! Thank you, Dan and Brandy, for such a wonderful time. We enjoyed talking to you both. When we drive through again, this will be a main stay stop for us!!! And Happy 3rd...

Details: After 24 hrs. I just woke up from a food coma after eating at Mom’Ma Bear’s and can now report the following.
The food is every bit as delicious as described by all the other Yelp and Google reviewers. To call the portions generous is an understatement, if you are a modest eater, it’s perfectly reasonable to share with someone else in your car.
There toppings are so thick that you might think the burger is overloaded, it’s not, the meat is up to the challenge. When most places advertise ¼ or ½ lb. they are giving you the pre-cooked weight. I’m pretty sure Mom’Ma Bear’s is giving you the POST cooked weight. And that held true for all three that our group bought whether bison, elk or local beef.
Heads Up:
Awesome and friendly people with delicious food.
The bison burger is delicious and a meal in itself. My dh said the regular burger ranked top of his list. We each made it a meal, and the only reason I regret that is it was way too much food. I swear it was a pound of fries that came with my monster burger. Usually, when I ask for mushrooms, I get three or four slices. The burger had a mound of mushrooms. I dived for any that fell into the cardboard box because they were so good. The sauce was perfectly balanced, smoky, and sweet. The fries are better quality Yukon, not russet. They were the best fries I have ever had. They have sparkling water and the option to have a sparkling lemonade, in addition to the usual sodas. There are a couple of picnic benches to eat right there, if you don't want to take it home.
Next time we drive through on a trip to visit family, we will order a fry to share....but the people are wonderful and the food is phenomenal!!!...
