Subway — Restaurant in Island City

I just recently ordered three sandwiches which were 9-grain wheat toasted w/ turkey, American cheese, lettuce, and Mayo

And none of them were wrong the 9-grain wheat didn’t have cheese and wasn’t toasted. The toasted white wasn’t toasted, didn’t have cheese, and hardly any Mayo. Finally the non toasted white was toasted when we asked for the other one to be toasted, and no cheese. Honestly I wouldn’t recommend as my experience was bad even when I got up to the window it was poor customer service wasn’t polite at all and threw everything together like it...

I am a regular customer here and have been for over 10 years. But ever since they hired the new cashier (Cat is her name I believe) I refuse to go in. She has been nothing but rude to me, many customers from what I’ve witnessed, and even the other employees both on the gas station side and the subway side. I’ve talked to a handful of my friends who shop here regularly and they have all had the same negative experiences with her. Everyone else there is great, but she is the reason I will now go...

Slow and understaffed, you'll often find gas attendants making your sandwich while the actual employees stand around helplessly. Do they all have food handlers training? Nobody knows. One time we tried to get a sandwich only to be told they didn't want to defrost more marinara sauce at 3pm on a Wednesday. So yeah, pick one of the other two locations if Subway is your jam. Try the drive thru if you want to jump the line inside- they will make your sandwich first even if 10 people are...
