I'm giving a 3 star because literally most of the time everything is fine. I go here multiple times a week before work and other than a few drink issues over the years (which I've never addressed), I think it's a good place to get your coffee.
With that said, I am writing this review because someone paid for the two cars behind them (me and then someone else). However due to the lady cashing out, both of us paid and they were going to issue refunds. They literally had the conversation in front of me but the manager seemed very confused and eventually said "okay your good" and I left.
Confused, I parked and went inside to address it and ask that the money that was supposed to go to paying for my order, get passed on to someone else. I didn't expect someone to do something nice for me like this, so I just wanted to make sure someone would benefit from the strangers kindness. The manager was very confused, didn't bother to try and figure it out and really shut down the conversation when saying "trust me, everything was paid for" and even told me that the person in front of me DIDN'T pay for our orders. So I'm left feeling that She is either incompetent, hopefully new at her job and just not good at all aspects of her job yet, or she straight lied to me to get me to leave. Yeah I know everything was paid for because I paid it, but the person in front of me may have "paid" for an order that no one received. I feel bad that the person in front of me was trying to do something nice, and based on the manager's responses, I'm led to believe that the good deed in fact, did not get passed on.
I'll still go back, as I said, most of the time everything is good. But for now I just feel uneasy about the situation and feel both the stranger and I were disrespected and felt others should hear...
Read moreWent through the drive thru yesterday. While sitting in line I was stopped in front of the back drive thru window. An employee was handling the ice with bare hands while texting at the same time. She would text on her phone, no gloves, then stop and grab the ice bucket with her bare hands and scoop ice from the ice machine into the ice cart to take up front to fill the ice machines up there. Ice was falling onto the outside of that plastic cart to wheel the ice up front. She was grabbing that ice off the top of that dirty plastic cart with her BARE HANDS AND FINGERS that she had just been using to text with on her filthy phone with and putting it in with the 'clean' ice. She then came back and busted open a large sleeve of drink cups with bare hands, no gloves. These people are dirty here. Not to mention their nasty attitudes when taking your order. The donuts I received were stale and they NEVER seem to be able to give you a receipt. I've been through there several times and they always have some issue with giving a receipt. I truly believe that is on purpose. I won't be back to this Dunkin' Donut or any other. I've reported this to their corporate headquarters and will also make Stark County Health Department aware. Their hands and fingers are not supposed to come into contact with any food, utensils, cups, counters, etc. while prepping, cooking, serving etc. I strongly suspect a lot of these five star reviews with NO comments are...
Read moreI brought my kids plus one extra in this morning for donuts for a birthday and to start off this beautiful day. The lady at the front desk quickly made our excited mood fade. She was rude & acted like us even being there was an issue. She got visually annoyed every time I told her what each kid wanted, and when I finally ordered my bagels she was very obviously irritated I didn’t know specifically how many mini bagels came in an order. I had to tell my kids to go sit down because they each wanted their own choice (which I wanted to let them have) but because she was soooo obviously irritated (and I stated out loud “this woman is obviously stressed out and now I’m stressed so please go sit down so we can get through this”) I had to hurry up and choose random donuts I wasn’t even sure they wanted. She got annoyed with my questions and frustrated when I ordered them drinks. I was still nice and respectful (outside of when I sent the kids to sit down) and trying really hard to change her pleasantness with no avail. She was the same way to the people after me. I opened my bag later and saw she gave me the wrong bagels. This is literally a place to order donuts. To be treated as if I’m an issue for ordering donuts and being rushed to pick out the kind we want was just unprofessional/uncalled for. I don’t ever leave bad reviews! I usually go out of my way for good reviews, but this was just such a bummer of a way to start...
