Lucky 7 Deli & Food Store Incorporated — Restaurant in Jackson Township

Let me start by saying that I've gone to the Lucky 7 Deli in Lawrence Twsp many times for subs... always 👍👍. Stopped here today and got my usual, the "Lucky 7 Italian". You can't see your sandwich being made... the preparation occurs behind a wall made by the counter and signage. Eventually the guy at the register hands me a wrapped sub to go. Basically the sandwich I got was a ham hoagie... The ham was stacked on approximately 1" thick, but the salami, pepperoni, capicola and provolone was maybe ¼" thick all stacked together. (Wish I had taken a photo for this review) And the ham was INCREDIBLY salty!! (I did NOT ask for salt to be added). It was so salty it was nearly inedible! Disappointing sub to be sure. OMG IF YOUR BUYING SUBS AT JERSEY MIKES OR QUICK CHECK OR WAWA YOU ARE WASTING YOUR MONEY!!!! There whole sub is old school sub size. High quality meats and cheeses and the roast beef is on the pink side. You must listen to me once you get subs there you will NEVER want a sub from anywhere else. Even the pickles are awesome.... on burger nights we go and get a couple and they even slice them for us. THEY ARE SO KIND AND FRIENDLY. Recently moved to the area. Stopped in to play Power Ball and saw they do sandwiches. Bought one out of laziness so i wouldnt have to think of what should be cooked at home... best move ever! A simple sandwich which they loaded with meat, cheese, dressing, lettuce, tomato and anything else I wanted. Sat out front and ate it as I watched everyone walk in empty handed and come out with a sandwich. Now I use the excuse of playing lotto so I can buy a sandwich.
