Vinco Pizzaria — Restaurant in Jackson Township

First time at this place. Ordered takeout via Slice then drove out to Vinco from Johnstown to pick it up. Got there, staff informs me they had no order for me. Informed them I ordered through Slice, they tell me they no longer use Slice. I check the app, yep sure enough, order was cancelled--I didn't double check before leaving. Staff was very apologetic even though they didn't really do anything wrong. What the hell, don't let it ruin my day, decided to dine in instead, staff very graciously threw a few extra toppings on my pie by way of apology. Everything was excellent, pizza was very good and the crust was cooked to perfection - chewy and tasty. The wings were the best I've had yet in the Johnstown area; meat came easily off the bone and the exterior was crispy (not burnt) and slathered with sauce. I'll be back. One suggestion though guys: would be a good idea to remove the Slice ordering link from both your own web site and the Google Maps site. Super online folks like me will use these links every time before we think of picking up a phone, you could save yourself a few...

Not one to write negative reviews but this was my third time ordering from Vinco Pizzaria and my third less than pleasant experience. I ordered off the Slice app and specified to leave at the door seeing as though I was sick and laid up in bed. The delivery driver proceeded to knock at my side door and with no answer proceeded to knock at the front door until I answered. Once I had the food in possession, upon opening my pizza it was folded up in the corner of the box, cold, and undercooked. (I live less than 5 minutes from the restaurant) I ordered the pickle spears as well and when I opened the bag there were fries. Called the pizza shop and they were quick to resolve the issue. Honest mistake and I can’t be too mad over that. Delivery driver returned with the pickles shortly after which I give them kudos. However the spears were burnt and were missing the ranch. My wife and I have ordered from here a few times and my wife was in the mood for wings so of course we have to order wings among other things. She ordered around 7pm via the online ordering app. It said to expect delivery at the latest at 8:30pm. Since it was a Friday night I assumed it was probably just busy. 8:30 comes and goes and still no food. At 8:45 I thought maybe I should call the place and see where it is. We checked the online thing and it said it left their restaurant at 8pm and is still on the way to our house. I have numerous security cameras and logged on and saw that the food did in fact show up. It was delivered an hour earlier at 7:41 pm. Upon reviewing the door bell camera the delivery lady did an excellent job of keeping the food out of the rain, but failed to knock or ring the doorbell. So it sat outside. We ordered about 50 dollars worth of food. It was still good, just really cold. Will continue to order....
