We’ve eaten here many times. Had dinner parties here more than once. Service is typically ok during the day, but forget it at night. They are rude, they take forever, and did I mention they are rude? The short lady with the short curly hair and glasses threw our menus and place mats because I told her our table needed wiped off. This was after she pointed and mumbled when seating us. She didn’t walk us to a table, she just pointed and mumbled. We like the food, but not enough to continue having poor service. I work in the service industry and would NEVER treat customers this way. Especially customers who come in 4+ times in your short season. We ended up walking out and won’t be back. (My young children were with me and I didn’t want to wait who knows how long for...

Food has always been very good there but they changed the menu and came out with menus with no prices on them.... Well ordered the baked cod for lunch with salad and cottage cheese and it was $20.. it was good but come on put some prices on there. I would have gotten the sandwich with no bun and salad for $12. Hours of operation are posted online and when you go there at 7pm on a Friday night expecting to have their prime rib dinner special don't have waitress come out and say we are closing it was slow... On a Friday night during holidays.. went to log cabin down the road and they were packed.. they have great chefs and cooks but definitely needs to be managed...

I was looking for a new place to try for a nice quiet dinner with my wife, we were celebrating our 14 yr anniversary of the day we met, so I needed a special place. I FOUND IT! The Waterhole Restaurant is incredible. The atmosphere is perfect, nice rustic exposed beam interior. The food was delicious, I had the filet mignon salad and it was perfectly cooked. The servers were so polite and friendly. And last but not least, the price was actually lower than any other decent sit down restaurant in the area.
