Incredibly disappointed in this establishment, they have PRIME opportunity to make something great with the view and location but the individuals they have chosen to hire have ruined it. When we first got to the register, there was no greating, they just were carrying on with their conversation behind the register. The view is amazing and we brought cards to play while waiting for our food, but once the food arrived it all went south. All fries were cold, as their plates were just sitting out until all items were ready, and the tiny heater hood does not stretch the length of their serving area. Right off the bat, the bacon we ordered on one of our burgers was missing and when we asked, we got a snotty reply saying it’s coming out shortly (why is it not already on the burger šŸ˜€). Additionally, we ordered ranch with our order but when the food came we were then told they were out, which is okay, this restaurant it way out here but just say that at the register. When we asked for confirmation on a gluten free bun (yes i know, eye roll here but trust me if she could eat a normal bun she would, it’s not by choice) our waitress was incredibly rude and answered as she was walking away.

We proceeded to get several stank eyes from the kitchen after we complained about our cold fries, after being given a basket of fresh hot fries to make up for it (proving they can serve hot fries lol). When half of our table was still eating, the same waitress came over and started taking everything away, again normally cool but she didn’t say a single word the entire time (shoutout Bogi), felt like a big middle finger to us.

But hey! At least they are staying consistent with their 3.8 and...

Super disappointed. Heard about this place from some travel reviewers and was looking forward to it. The only positive was the view and open & kid friendly outdoor space. For 3 of us we spent $101 for a chicken sandwich, ribs, grilled cheese, a soda & 2 beers. The chicken was super tough and almost inedible, the ribs were overcooked (by a lot! We are from TX and eat a lot of BBQ) and the grilled cheese might have been the worst I’ve had (stale bread & thick barely melted cheese) my son wouldn’t even eat it. The kitchen area & surrounding patio was super dirty (we used to be in the restaurant industry and notice dirty kitchens) and the bathrooms were gross. We aren’t food snobs or clean freaks…this was just plain bad all around. This seems like a place that was great once but has been let go big time, and is limping along on its past reputation. Unfortunately, I would not recommend...

The best thing about this place is that you have a wonderful view of the Tetons while you are eating. It seems to stay fairly busy during the daylight hours as it is the only substantial place to get food within 10 miles either way of Moose Jct and there are many tourists driving US 89 to get a good look at the Tetons while They offer a limited variety of sandwiches, soups (including green chili) and salads for which you stand in line to order and pay and then have the food delivered to your table when ready. The beer selection is limited but offers good local beers along with the bland American regulars. The prices are what you would expect for a tourist place, moderately higher than at your home restaurants, but not outrageous. The parking can be tough as there are a lot of people stopping to shop at the adjacent general store, the pizza joint,...

If you want low-end industrial quality food, (school food from the 70s) this may be the place for you! We had breakfast there. They don't serve eggs with cheese since they don't serve cheese during breakfast. There is a break between 11-12 to switch over to lunch. They don't tell you to get your own coffee or silverware. The pancakes were ok with enough syrup and honey on them. Even that didn't help the sausage. Oh, don't arrive close to 11 or they'll be out of several things ... except beer. Seems they offer that all day! The eggs were tolerable. Overall, I wouldn't bother coming here again. I'd rather just buy a snack from the store. My wife and I feel the same way, and we're not picky eaters. Save the $30 for 2 breakfasts here and go to Signal Mt Lodge for good food, service, and views. Oh, and you're in the airports flight path.

Update: Been coming here for over 20 years, and after this visit, we won't be coming back. So many changes, all for the worse. First, the Chuck Wagon buffet is no longer there. Those big cast iron pots over the fire are gone! Now it is just a very SLOW grill, nothing special, no good service. Only cans of soda because their soda machine was broke. Scenic setting, but the food is not worth the high prices! Older post: Food is good, but the view earns it the 5 stars. We've been coming here for years, and have always been happy to eat here, but the real treat is the scenery. there are three "places" to eat; inside a giant teepee, in a covered patio area, and lastly on picnic table on the lawn. It has one of the best views of any Teton restaurant. People are friendly and we always enjoy it.
