Dunkin' — Restaurant in Jackson

Ordered takeout. Sorry but the donuts are too heavy Krispy kremes are much better. But I had the sourdough breakfast sandwich which was a very good. I was a little shocked that they had more than just donuts. Many years since I've been to a dunkin' donuts. Also had the hash brown rounds. Order had six a bit small for that price and they weren't very good. Saw the lady prepare everything and all the food is cooked ahead of time and all they do is put it in a warmer or some sort of fast cook machine. Kind of like they had at Subway when you ask for your sandwich to be warmed. For it to be precooked food and the egg and bacon was fine. The sandwich is quite large so I ate half after church and the other half for late afternoon snack. I ate the sandwich at home and I actually added some warmed sliced ham to it. The bread could have been toasted a bit more it was basically just warmed. For it to be cooked ahead of time I did enjoy the sandwich. Friendly staff at the window. On the menu board at the drive-thru it would be helpful if they list the type donuts they have. No pictures only prices for a half a dozen and dozen so you don't even know how much they are a piece and it showed a price for specialty donuts. Come on guys it's a donut shop I realize you're trying to sell it sandwiches but you got where you are today because of the donuts. Since I didn't know what type of donuts they had and did not want to walk in to take a look I just ordered two glazed. The glaze is a bit runny as if it they have been cooked previously. Employees are uneducated in how to make coffee drinks. When you go back to have your drink made correctly, they make you look crazy and like you don’t know what you’re talking about. I’ve gotten drinks 3 different times with no flavor in it. I used to be a barista myself and I’m a BIG coffee drinker, have been for years. I know when coffee does or does not have flavor in it. Morning shift manager is very snippy and rude. I dread making the trip there in the morning just because I don’t want to deal with her. Unfortunately this location is closest to my home and I have to take what I can get on my way to work in the mornings. But the evening shift employees are WONDERFUL! They are so kind and go out of their way to ensure that I am taken care of. I love going there in the evenings to do schoolwork and hangout. It’s a wonderful atmosphere in the evening. I placed a mobile order to pick up on my way to work. Arrived to the drive-thru where there was a sign that said “all orders placed need to go come inside”. So I walk in and asked 3 times for my order. Waited over 30 minute for my order and that was only because I kept asking. One particular associate was extremely upset and stated that “people can’t read because they’re still pulling up to the drive-thru” and stated that she was not going to run that drive-thru. She complained about having two jobs and that she was sick of this job. She was cussing and slamming things everywhere. She had an extremely terrible attitude. I will never go back there again. I’m not one to write negative reviews but this service was terrible, especially for that particular location. Aside from the service, the coffee was overfilled with sweetener.
