J Lemon Pepper Fish & Chicken — Restaurant in Jacksonville

I love to support “Black Businesses”, so I decided to stop by to to see what JJ’s had to offer. I ordered their advertised NEW Caesar Salad with grilled shrimp . I was then told to pull around and park and that my order would be brought out to me. After 15mins of waiting in my car, my order as brought out to me. Once I got home, I realized they had given me ranch dressing instead of Caesar dressing …, store bought garden salad lettuce topped with FETA cheese and undercooked shrimp . So, I just used what I had at home. Even after the 1st experience, I decided to give them another try. I waited 25 mins for my salad this time. When asked to assure that I received Caesar dressing, I was told that they needed to check to make sure they head any because “most folks don’t ask for it “. Huh? Then, When I walked inside to check on my order , of course they miraculously found Caesar dressing and then insisted that I dispose of the ranch that I brought back, instead of them just disposing of it themselves . How do you advertise your “New Caesar Salads” but provide no Caesar dressing nor prepare...

First and last time trying this place. I called for an order of fried lobster tails that’s all I was coming here. The associate on the phone said come in for order. Took the drive specifically for the only reason. Get to the establishment only to find out this establishment wasted my time and they didn’t have anymore lobster tail and when I said I called in the said they didn’t receive any call which was a lie. I left the establishment called on my phone again they answered I asked do they have lobster tail again the girl asked someone did she want to do it meaning when I got to the window the girl lied and did not want to work and make the food. This is sad if you don’t want to work give the job to someone who wants to work poor excuse of an establishment. If the boss doesn’t care about losing money and customer what’s the point of being open. I was going to make a big purchase glad I saved my money and...

This place used to be decent. But like a lot of places after they've gotten a good rep they sing to do everything they can to destroy that reputation. I am so tired of refried chicken from this place even when you ask for it to be cooked fresh. There is no way 10 wings can be cooked fresh and ready as soon as they Park you after going through the drive-thru especially when there's no line. The Fries are room temperature with no seasoning and the chicken is dry and hard. I'm at the point where I feel like if I want to order from here I actually need to go inside and watch them prepare my food. I used to come here two or three times a week. Now it's barely two times a month and if the quality does not improve I won't continue to give these people my money.
