Sheryl's Candy Apple Creations — Restaurant in Jacksonville

Usually I try a place twice before leaving a review. That being said, OMG! I was looking on TikTok for Dubai Chocolate near me & Sheryl’s Candy Apple Creations popped up. The shop is Cute & Professional. You aren’t going to be waisting your hard earned money here. It’s absolutely worth every penny. It is nicely organized and as you walk further into the shop you immediately notice QUALITY. Both Zelia & Alicia were extremely Kind & Helpful. They didn’t rush us and Genuinely seemed like they were Happy to see us.😊 Now I have been to Candy Shops & especially Godiva, even walking out with a $100 box of White Chocolate stars (Hubby’s Favorite). When I tell you he is PICKY I mean it, Once Godiva closed he completely stopped eating White Chocolate. 😂 Today when we saw the warmers full of FRESH White & Milk Chocolate, I don’t know who was more excited. We started with their Candy Grapes in both Watermelon & Strawberry. I was shocked at how juicy the frozen grapes are. The flavors were fun & just delicious. The Shurtle was obviously delicious my husband ate it without sharing.😂 The Lemonade AWESOME, no skimping on a wonderful lemon flavor here. You KNOW it’s good when you can still enjoy it after Candy. The Banana Pudding Bites? Yep, Genius! My husband LOVES Banana Pudding, these little gems are covered in White Chocolate. Shockingly he decides to try them & then he asks for a White Chocolate Covered Pineapple Ring. I’m going to be honest, I didn’t think it could get better than the Pineapple Ring. Even the hubby was ELATED! Then came the reason for the trip The Dubai Chocolate Bar. I couldn’t begin to describe the complex layers of sweet & savory. The Chocolate Bar’s texture was Creamy & a little crunchy. We thought “AMAZING the BEST!” WRONG! The Dubai Strawberries, I imagine would be a Dessert you’d get after getting through the Pearly Gates as a Welcome Treat. The Strawberries were Beautiful & paired so nicely with the Milk Chocolate, Pistachio Butter & Crunchy Knafeh. PERFECTION! Worth the Hour Drive? ABSOLUTELY! This Confectioner is clearly someone who truly cares about their customers. I would easily say this is the BEST Candy Shop we’ve tried in our almost 30 years of marriage. Soooo delicious 😋 My first time, and it was soooo good! Abit pricy though for the small amount you receive. But tbh, for something like this, it comes down to great things are in moderation, the experience, the tasty treats and convenience. So I can see that too because they’re so delicious. The girl that was there was sooooo helpful, sweet and kind, very welcoming and great with recommendations. It was a little hard to understand the pricing. Asking for the simple $5 apple caramel, and we asked if it’s $5 of sliced it for us, but then it came out $9. So I’m not sure why that was because we heard it was still $5 even if sliced it. But maybe she didn’t hear the part of it was the same price if asked to slice the $5 apple/caramel. I will say, it wasn’t advertised for the wheel that’s I there. You can’t miss it, but I eventually asked about it, and she said they’d message back after tagging/posting in the story’s with a promo code or you share the post to get that discount. So I’m assuming for the next purchase. So a little unclear but I’ll have to ask again, and hope for the next time coming in. The strawberry shortcake apple fries were recommended, and I 100% agree. It was so worth to buy and enjoy. The fresh lemonade was amazing too! So, nothing bad to say, a few things that my friends and i experienced, and it was a great experience and conversations while there. Definitely a nice treat for every so often, and I would go again! my daughter worked there did her training hours and for needing to leave 28 minutes early she got let go. She is a young hardworking mother and only reason she left was her finger was sprained and it didnt fit through the glove, the owner did not care and still made her work like that while dealing with food, you need to always use gloves she tried to work out her shift till the end. The last few minutes she got fired for not completing the shift when she only had 28 minutes left and her training was complete. Do not go here friends. They are crazy expensive and have no understanding for their workers. The other worker they are almost got let go for having G.I. issues. The owner sheryl says she’s understanding, but she is not because my daughter went in anyways to work and only asked to leave a few minutes early. This place is a disappointment and they...
