This is my absolute favorite bakery in town. I grew up in a small business bakery with family and friends and have missed having a bakery like that around. Essential Sweets gives me all those vibes. The owner and staff and incredibly sweet. Even if I message them on Facebook, they reply quickly and they're always happy to help. The cakes are amazing and priced perfectly. I ordered a cake from another popular cake bakery in town and it doesn't compare to Essential Sweets. And they're always coming up with something new and delicious. The only con I would mention, is they don't put nearly enough glazed strawberries in their cakes. I'm sure if I asked, they would have no problem doing so. I have ordered from Anna before when she worked at Lowe’s food and made my daughters cake beyond my expectations and it was absolutely delicious. Seeing that she opened up her own shop I was very excited to get my husbands cake made by her. I messaged their Facebook page showing them what I wanted and if they could make something similar and they said yes they could, well they didn’t even come close. For the price I paid for this cake I am disappointed as it was nothing like I asked for and the cake didn’t taste as good either.
