Tasty seafood chicken and subs — Restaurant in Jacksonville

We decided to order some food from Tasty on a Friday night thru Grubhub. We ordered a Chicken Philly, a steak Philly and a 10 piece wing with fries. I ordered the wings with hot sauce and asked for them extra wet, which they gave me. I love that they are whole wings...yum. We literally live 3 minutes away...but we were busy..I just got of work and well ...i was being lazy. That's why we used Grubhub. My mother and husband loved their sandwiches. Said they were the best they have had in a long time. I liked the wings alot...hot sauce was great..but....sadly all our fries were cold and soggy and my wings were also cold..not a little cold..but cold cold. Thank God for the microwave. The Grubhub driver text me when he arrived at Tasty. Said they were super busy. Then he text me 10 minutes later...said my food had been ready but they were too busy to bag it and the cooks were verbally fighting with each other...so he couldn't get their attention. Finally he was able to get someone's attention...they bagged my food. 3 minutes later he is at my door. Upsets me that this was my first experience and my food was cold. Really upsets me that we finally get a good restaurant in Arlington and they cant pull it together enough to deliver hot food. Will I try them again? Absolutely! Am I optimistic they will pull it together? No, but very hopeful!! Fingers crossed!!!!

So I ordered again the next night..absolutely wonderful!! Everything was hot and fresh...will definitely be back..those wings..yum..that sub fabulous. Thank you Tasty for com to...

Used the drive thru service; visit date Saturday December 12, 2020. Was challenging to order as the two way speaker was problematic for both myself and the staff. The staff though were quite professional and friendly. Service was a little slow, but the food is cooked to order and brought to your car piping hot. Ordered the 4 piece fish dinner (choices were white fish or catfish); opted for the whitefish, and also ordered 10 piece chicken tenders with fries. Fish fillets were huge. Unfortunately, fish smelled really fishy and tasted such even more so; was heavily over seasoned. Threw the entire dinner away. Chicken tenders were huge and meaty. They were a bit overcooked but nonetheless tasty. The honey mustard sauce that was drizzled on them was exceptional. This is a new restaurant in Arlington, and with new comes small issues that need to be ironed out. Will most certainly give this establishment another visit and sample other items on their rather extensive menu. That said, given this experience, am not likely to ever try the fried...

My husband and I went to try this place for the first time yesterday 12/19/20 and we got the chicken tender meal. When we got it home and ate it the quality of the chicken was dry and over seasoned, I'm talking like they dumped a whole bottle per piece. The fries tasted like they came out of a bag and my husband's onion rings were flavorless. I would have just taken it as a loss and moved on BUT later that night my husband became violently sick. He was vomiting and using the restroom so much we had to go to the hospital. They determined he had food poisoning and it was causing a bacterial infection. The doctor says they see this when the same oil is used for meat and fish. I have a stronger stomach then my husband but have been in the bathroom more times than I care to today. For your safety I would NOT eat here. The hospital also contacted the health department. One star...
