2.)Your business reply to my review and the others on Google clearly show the public how this business is run. I get it our restaurants are saturated with a ton of Chinese food business owners, its a no brainer on which ones are truly good. Those businesses could get away with the attitude you as a business owner has shown here. If Your Food Was As good as China 99 and Hot Wok because they truly have Great Chinese food, they could possibly get away with attitude like yours. Your business has alot of competition so maybe instead of chastising your customers back with your text book responses you should Tighten Up. Ive worked in plenty of restaurants and i also cook so im very aware of how its prepared & the time food takes to make along with non walk in orders. Save your excuses for OSHA because your white and green scallion onions Only mixed in your gristle slime beef was disgusting. I'll never give this restaurant another chance to serve my appetite again. Your daughter picked up the stapler and slammed it down several times so her explanation doesnt make a bit of sense. She is too young to be working so explain that to DCFS. No need to respond to this because clearly you have no understanding of Quality Assurance or how to make things better. Only if you would like me to inform the public on more of your adolescent unapologetic empty promises, feel free to prompt another reply to this review 🤢🤮 1.) i really didnt want to have to do this,but i waited for over 20 mins for my order i paid almost 25.$ a meal for 1 person . i forgot something to drink and they said they had a credit card minimum so i had to spend more just for something to drink. the young girl who i paid seemed upset that i didnt tip her so he started banging the stapler on the table. i got 1 egg roll and it was so over done i couldnt eat it, itbwas a ROCK. ILL NEVER...

8/14/21 visit this was our go to Chinese take out but on Saturday I was waiting for my order to be bagged as the young kid took my payment I noticed their son walk to the kitchen part of the restaurant and pulled out a piece of chicken used in the sweet n sour chicken from the pan he was laughing at the fact of how small it was he then walked to the front to show his sister and returned to the kitchen where he placed the same chicken back in the pan with his bare hands. I was standing in disbelief as I just knew my order was not being made from that pan well the dad then takes pan and pours it into the clear togo container as if nothing just happened. I asked for a refund because clearly I was not going to eat that food. The mother comes to the front to convince me that I didn’t see what clearly was done in front of me and I just kept asking for a refund she got onto the son but really the damage was done it was a back and forth before they agreed to refund the order....

To think I thought Hot Wok had mediocre décor. I've lived in Jax for over 30 years. As I was born and lived in Long Island growing up, I have experienced amazing cuisine from Chinese take out joints....this place was very underwhelming. The young lady taking orders seems shell shocked or traumatized when taking orders. That's a bit off putting to say the least. My daughter and I decided to pass up our neighborhood Hot Wok and head GWCR. We read a few reviews from the Best Eats/Jax FB page and decided to give them a try. Someone claimed the fried rice was delicious. STOP SMOKING when critiquing eateries. I ordered pepper steak w/ onions. The gravy was middle of the road as well. My daughter didn't rave a bunch about her food either.

I'm craving authentic traditional fried rice...carrots, peas, bean sprouts...and EGG (without an upcharge)
