When we 1st arriced and sat in a booth one of the waitresses was sweeping thr floor. When ahe got to our booth she told pweson with me to "Let me get that under your table" my friend had to literally get up and atand doe her to sweep under the table otherwise she would have swept his shoes and feet. Ordered bacon, grits with cheese and a waffle. When bacon got to the table it was burnt black on both sides on the end of the bacon. So badly till it was sent back. Our waitress left so much to be desiresd. We asked for extra creamer and sweetener...we received 4 creamers and 3 sweetners. This was for 2 ppl having coffee in which we had asked for when ordering our drinks. Waitewss had to make 2 trips just to being our sweetners and our ceeamers. Our waitress brought our food to the table 1 plate at a time. We had an all star breakfast and received 3 plates of food, 1 at a time. The waffle, bacon and grits was also received...1 plate at a time. Waitress brought out the bacon 1st. Then we received our waffles after more than 5 minutes of receiving our bacon.. The burnt bacon had been sent back before the waffles came. Waitress came back to out table 1 time to check on us and I had to ask twice for more coffee. I did get the requested refill. But when waitress brought check to table coffee cup was almost empty and she never asked if I needed a refill and surely did not bring coffee on her own. I was still eating and she attempted to reach over my plate of food to get the empty plate I had placed to my left. I grabbed the plate and gave to her to keep her from reaching over my plate of food that I was still eating from. This was a disaster from the time we sat down in the booth. From having to get up so waitress could sweep under the table to eating our meals without anything to drink. Tried several times to get waitresses attention for a drink refill and nit really sure if she deliberately ignored us or didn't hear us. But I tend to believe we were ignored. I have always had a waitress bring the coffee to he table without having to ask. Especially when she looked to see if coffee cup was empty or not. Guess tou actually have to walk to the table for that. Or maybe you have to look inside the coffee cup. Either way the service was horrible. Read moreSo I may have arrived prior to a Shift Change (06:20am), but still, no excuse for what should be simple standard Customer Service. I placed my order, consisting of eggs, bacon, a waffle, toast (2 full slices) and a bowl of grits. It was me and one other customer, who was already eating his breakfast when I came in. My order was brought to my table, minus the waffle which had not been prepared yet, so my waitress, Hannah, had to tell the cook, to make the waffle. I had to ask for some jelly for my toast, and with an attitude of inconvenience, Hannah gave me ONE for my toast.. I let that one go, but I had to send back my bacon to be completely cooked as it was almost raw and limp. Even the one customer noticed and said he would send it back as well. I did get my waffle and butter. For some reason, I still had to Ask For Syrup!! (Really??) Then I got my bacon which was still not as crisp as I prefer, but better. I was never asked if I needed more drink (empty cup). I paid for my meal, said "Thank you." for which her unemotional response was, "Your Welcome." and I left. At no point did I feel welcome, or was appreciated for my patronage. No "Thanks for stopping in.", or "Please come again." This location is conveniently located next door to two truck stop fuel plazas. (Pilot and TA) which is nice for a Commercial Truck Driver like myself. Read moreMy server was sitting in her car when I walked up. She saw me walk in (I didn’t know she was my server at the time). I sat there for about 10 minutes or so waiting to be greeted. No one was at the front. The server who was sitting in her car came in and walked right by me not saying a word. Had earbuds in the entire time and was on a phone call most of the time. The other server came out of the restroom and asked me what I wanted to drink and then told the other girl what I wanted. Apparently she was my server after ignoring me this entire time. Instead of getting me my drink, she was worried about a uhaul that was parked in the empty lot. Finally about another ten minutes later I get my drink. She just set it down with no greeting. Grabs her pad to take my order and asks if I need a menu.
Fast forward to my order. She takes ANOTHER ten minutes to even tell the grill guy my order. My food, which was great, came out quickly after she finally put the order in. But she dropped off my food and my check at the same time. NEVER came back to check on me and was outside the entire time after that and at one pointed walked over to the pilot with a man. I hope you guys are not paying her for this type of “service”. I know her from another establishment and her demeanor and attitude is awful.
