For starters, the queso was super watery. It looked like they added milk to it to stretch it. The chips were borderline stale, and they didn't even give us a refill of chips or salsa. The chairs are extremely uncomfortable and not made to accommodate people with above average body size. Everybody received their food at different times. I had to ask a server where one meal was since they just happened to not bring it out. After getting our food, which took longer than it should have, I had to listen to a flamboyant guy talk about high school and all the drama that comes with being a gay kid. I certainly didn't need to hear him sing Taylor Swift "We Are Never Getting Back Together" while I was trying to eat. It's definitely unprofessional. Drinks weren't refilled unless asked, and even then, the waitress seemed highly inconvenienced. After we ate, we were given the bill, and it came out to about $70 for three adults and two children (3 year olds). I go to the counter to pay, and they added on some administrative fee of about $3. They should have added that prior to handing me the bill instead of surprising me at the register. This was my first and only experience there, and I am never going back. I will not even recommend anybody...

We have been coming here for the last 7 years since we moved to Jamestown. The service has always been lacking. Tonight I ordered takeout. The lady on the phone was nice enough , but the lady at the front counter was outright rude. Both women refused to allow me to add extra cheese to my food. (I ask to please just make sure my rice isn't dry). I have made this same order numerous times without issues over the last 7 years. We have continued to come here because the food was better, but if the food now suffers as well then I will have to take my business elsewhere. I checked my food at the restaurant and the rice was dry, I ask to pay to have cheese added. The cashier refused and said my only option was to buy cheese dip and add it myself. If I am willing to pay and I have been able to do it every visit previously then at least check with someone instead of being...

Food was ok...nachos were very odd as I had to build it myself instead of ingredients being spread out over all the nachos...but it was the service thats the real problem. Watched the woman at the front run out the door to take a personal call with no coverage of the front...then she came back...phone was ringing off the hook and she just looked at the phone while Noone answered it. She then proceeded to go to back of restaurant to sit down and do some Facebooking I would assume as the line built up at the front with Noone there to cash these people out...some little kid running around playing with cups on the floor apparently the child of the waitress...again food was ok...but there are better with far better service and far less drama, so I will pass...

Now I have to start this with, this is not the first time I've eaten here, and normally it is incredibly good, but this last take out order I made, was down right gross. I ordered four carne asada tacos, enchiladas rancheras, Chile Colorado, fajitas quesadillas, tomatillo, queso, and guacamole. Totaling around $70. What I got on the other hand was a quesadilla that seemingly had no cheese on it, the entire large order of guacamole was brown, the tacos had literally two fistfuls of lettuce over them, and the enchiladas rancheras had the same brown guacamole on it and seemed like it was just soaking in water. To say I was disappointed with the order tonight is an understatement.

Every time I’m in the Jamestown area (usually visiting Sgt. York or Pickett State Parks) I have to stop at Garcia’s for lunch or dinner! Their food is consistently tasty and plentiful! Over the years I’ve enjoyed many of their enchiladas, tacos, chimichangas and burritos! The refried beans and rice are always a welcome side. The chips and salsa are very fresh, and the salsa is served in a little carafe so everyone can have their own dish. The staff are always friendly and I’ve never had to wait long for food! Give it a try the next time you’re in Jamestown, TN!
