Peking Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Jamestown

I sure hate to leave reviews like this but its time. I've been a customer of this place for at least 20yrs. I used to bring family and friends from all over to eat here, it was the best Chinese food on a buffet you'd find anywhere. Like I said used to be. Im sad to report that I won't be going back. I've given them the benefit of the doubt the last 4x I've eaten there hoping it was just me but its not just me. Folks, 4/5x we eat here at least half of our group immediately gets stomach issues and ends up in the bathroom if you know what im saying. Yes, within 20 mins of leaving we're making emergency stops, or flying like we're fleeing the apocalypse to get back to our respective thrones. The service is subpar from what it used to be and the food oh dear lord. Most of the times the food is so old the rice is crunchy, the chicken is rubbery, and you leave expecting to get sick. Went today to have a nice family meal. Two adults a 10 year old and. 5 year old. We ate off the buffet and as most 5 year olds he didn’t even eat one plate. The waitress did make sure our table was clean she did a good job. When we received our ticket the total was $50.11. When we asked the Chinese lady up front why it was so much she started to raise her voice at us and became hateful. We were very nice and respectful. They do not have their prices posted anywhere for you to see. She then proceeded to yell and tell us the price is different when it’s dinner but we was there at 3:30/3:50. The buffet does not change at all for lunch or dinner. When we paid she then continued to speak very loudly in her language like she was saying rude things about us. We will never be back...

It is frustrating that I have to leave 1 star! The good reviews MUST have been from ppl either paid or Chinese buddies because this restaurant was horrible! We took 1 bite of our food and a few sips of our drink and left, we are definitely to blame for sitting down we should have walked around the buffet and then left. The food was half or all gone. You could barely see any cream cheese in the wontons, the food was dry and old around the edges most likely had not been replaced in at least a day.
