Whit’s Frozen Custard of Jane Lew — Restaurant in Jane Lew

My wife and I noticed this Whit's location as we filled our car with gas at the building next to it. I thought my eyes were deceiving me. We are from Wilmington, N.C., retired, and travel frequently. We have had their custard at about 8 locations from around N.C. to Florida. ALL have been in much larger cities. Our experience today in Jane Lew, W.V. was our best yet. Custard (as always) was delicious ! The young employees at the counter were both polite and accommodating. Facility (including rest room) was spotlessly clean. Price was very reasonable. The owner came over and spoke while we were in her store - she is local to nearby Weston. Found her to be cordial and sincere. Custard was good and didn't bother my stomach like ice cream does. Owners and staff were super nice, very attentive, and seemed customer oriented. Just wish it was a little bigger inside. Couple of tables and counter seating but all where the line forms so if it's crowded it's not so good to sit and eat. Maybe some outdoor seating will be in the future.
