Subway — Restaurant in Janesville

The first employee was fine but than the “manager” came out with immediate attitude and was incredibly rude. She did not toast our sandwiches correctly the cheese was hardly melted but I didn’t say anything cuz she was clearly annoyed and unhappy with her position in life and letting it out on any customer possible. When I paid I said thank you have a great day and she told me to never come back. Now since this is the first time in my life I’ve ever stepped foot in there and I live no where near there that won’t be a problem but after I asked for my receipt for my records and her response was “I am the manager” - ok cool but I still need my receipt. Worse customer service I have ever received and from the manager no less mean while the other employee who probably doesn’t get paid half as much was very timid but pleasant. From what I saw every other employee there deserves a raise for having to put up with that managers attitude. She did all this in front of my children and another elderly guest. Not very professional. As I left she told me to have the day I deserved - which I’m sure she meant as an insult. However turned out to be a great day! This is by far my favorite Subway in the area. The younger guys that work here are always super personable and seem to enjoy working together. They also make great subs, and don't skimp on ingredients which is typical for most Subway restaurants. The only thing I'll say is that the last three times I've visited, the lettuce has been brown and unappealing, but it's lettuce, which I know turns pretty quick... It's connected to a gas station but they seem to keep it as clean as possible. I saw one of the guys with a fly swatter, murdering every fly he could find, which makes me happy knowing they're not landing on my soon to be consumed food. I highly recommend this Subway out of all Subways...

The absolute worst subway sandwiches I’ve ever had were from here today. Ordered a pick up at 11am. Got there early to make sure the subs were being made due to the app not updating its progress. I walk in at 10:50am to a completely empty store and my two subs sitting on some rack by the front door made way too early and were cold. Not to mention the bread was so hard and old it was flaking away. They also didn’t toast the sub that was asked to be toasted. The cheese on my meatball sub wasn’t even melted the slightest meaning those meatballs and that sauce put on the sub were not even warm.
