My wife and I decided to try this place on our way home after an 8 hour drive, as we always see the parking lot filled. They had a band that was warming up, I believe they were a country or southern rock back and the one song we heard, they sounded good as did the acoustics. Their beer selection was vast, but only written on the white boards by the bar. Easily solved with a pic and there us nothing like good rotating taps. Now....the part that we were disappointed by.... I ordered the black and blue burger with bacon and fries....asked the burger to be be cooked medium rare and the fries well done....well....the burger was cooked well done, making it very dry and the bacon was limp and chewy and fries underdone. It was well seasoned and the blue cheese crumbles were very vibrant and the lettuce and tomato was fresh. I was disappointed in the overall quality of the burger, as the patty itself had a fresh from frozen feel. My wife had the blackened shrimp alfredo with a side of vegetables. The shrimp were welled cooked and seasoned but the steamed vegetables were soggy (overcooked) and the sauce was tasteless, like it came from a jar or a bag....definitely not made from scratch....I do not believe the menu stated it was, but alfredo is a simple sauce to make, IMO. Our waitress barely checked in us after we got our food, which is something I dont mind but was never asked about the food after it was served. She was quick to get our bar order, our water, and did ask if we wanted another drink or dessert....after we were finished eating. The entire staff was pleasant, inviting, and seemed happy to be there. Judging from the other reviews, this just may have been an off night. Given their popularity, we do plan on trying them again, on a night less busy.

Where to begin, to say the least, Rocco's has lost their touch on things. Between mold on the food, wrong orders, and the waitresses adding additional charges on recipes, which appear to be "their tips". This has been happening for well over a year now, our job site is right down the road. So a steady understanding of how Rocco's Pub performs is quite consistent. As for the mold issue, for today's lunch, we were served two bacon cheeseburgers with mold clearly on the buns. When presented back to the waitresses they quickly replaced the buns and gave the meals right back to us. Questions stirred through our 7-person table. We understood the meals were contaminated, but it clearly showed the cooks and waitresses didn't know that for themselves. So for the time being we'll no longer be eating there, at least until Rocco's Pub straightens itself out. As for everyone's wanting to eat there..well do what you wish with this information, check your food, and double-check the recipe.

A true local landmark. Rocco's has been a Jasper tradition for decades. Way past my 30 years of living in GA. Browse the memorabilia on the walls. There have been some great musicians who have played here over the years. And there are still great musicians playing here now. Rocco's is a great place to see a show. Be sure to subscribe to their newsletter to keep up to date on the upcoming events. The food is really good. They have all the bar favorites and some new twists on the your old favorites. There's a great outdoor space where you can work off that fantastic lunch or just enjoy beers over a corn hole match. They are dog friendly so bring your best friend wing man and watch the ladies swarm you. Stop by Rocco's during your next ride or anytime you're in Jasper. It's a great place to hang out with friends and enjoy life!

We got here at 5PM on a Sunday and they were busy however there was no wait. We were seated, ordered drinks which came out pretty quick and ordered the chili cheese tater tots. First off, my drink was super watered down. We ordered the tots because they claimed they had an award winning chili recipe. What we got was no award winning recipe, basic chili nothing special, to the point we literally thought that they must have had 2 different recipes 1 basic one for tots and then the Award-winning on everything else, tots were okay, we would not order them again. We put in our food order, chicken nachos and a chili burger and fries. We waited another 40 mins for our food to arrive, the server never checked back to give us an update or anything. While waiting we noticed a 6 person table right next to us with maybe one plate left on the table and a bunch of empty drinks. They were there before we were seated and we assumed they were staying after their food to catch up with family. An hour into our visit we got our food, the burger was big, chili was plentiful and my nachos had been sitting so long they were soggy. I literally had to ask for a basket of chips because mine were a gummy mess. While we waited on my chips we overheard that table of 6 complain that they still had not got their food even though we came in after them. The server came back out and apologized and said the kitchen had lost their ticket! What server waits an hour before checking on a ticket?! Most restaurants want ticket times to be less than 15 minutes, how could you wait so long to check? 2 other tables got their food and had to wait a bit longer for a missing dish or 2. Our food was meh, the only reason I am giving 2 stars is because the food was edible. We will not...
