J-Way Cafe — Restaurant in Jay

I told my husband I didn't like J-Way Cafe but nothing to do but he had to stop and eat breakfast, I had a 2 egg western omelet ,hashbrown was so greasy, b&g and bacon and the gravy was DISGUSTING it was runny and clumpy , and I had NO drink my husband had 3 pancakes and 4 pieces of sausage and I took a bite of it and we don't think it is REAL MEAT I spit it out in my napkin, and a Pepsi, and that's it and it WAS $ 41.65 $41.65 OMG TALK ABOUT ROBBING PEOPLE oh and The WAITRESS NEVER CAME BACK TO THE TABLE $41.65 JESUS CHRIST WHAT IS THIS WORLD COMING TO WELL NEEDLESS TO SAY WE WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT PLACE!!!! Portions don't justify the price. Other places in the area have better food and way better prices. The staff is not very friendly and didn't seem to know what utensils are required to actually eat a meal. They serve a typical breakfast dish, like eggs and hash browns with ham or an omelet with a knife and spoon. We had to ask for a fork. The floors were sticky and the booths were dirty. Ours has a child's dusty footprints all over the seat. It was easy to see and should have been wiped off when they wiped the table. We actually passed up another booth because the recently wiped table was so wet, it would have taken 20 minutes to dry up on its own. We just decided to eat there after shopping nextdoor at L&L Outdoors. We'll definitely eat elsewhere after our next...

I don’t know if they were short on waitresses. Ours never came back to the table to address any needs. Was asked for extra napkins after our order was taken, and ranch dressing after our food arrived that never appeared. One burger ordered with no onions had piles of them. Had to go up to the counter and get napkins, ranch plus syrup for sweet potato fries. Food was good but wait staff not so great. Maybe the server was having a bad day.
