Last summer, around the beggning of June, before this place even opened, I applied for a job as a waiter (literally the first person to apply here). I was told that they where in need of a staff and would contact me once the restaurant opened in month. Well August rolls around and I give them a call. The owner says "come in and help me setup the restaurant ". I say to myself ok I guess it's safe to assume I got the job. I helped the owner setup the restraunt for 5 hours, cleaning sliver ware, setting tables, cleaning tables, etc. He then tells me to get a red shirt and black tie, so safe to assume I got the job after waiting all this time and helping him out. Wrong. This guy literally used me to help him setup his restaurant, didint pay me for it, then tells me after I had bought the shirt and tie that "I'm good for right now". All this after being the first person to apply here, following up numerous times, setting up his place for him for free, and buying the attire. Not only that but, he had waited to tell me in August that he wasent going to hire me when I had to got to school in September (and he knew that). I was used, screwed out of a job, and screwed for getting hired by another place because no one will hire an employee for a month. I'm in shock by how this guy used me and treated me, seems like all he cared about was lying to my face them using me for free help. I haven't been back here since then and have no idea how the food is or what not but I just thoght everyone should know what kind of guy...
Read moreI rarely write reviews, but this experience was beyond unacceptable.
We called the restaurant 30 minutes before arriving just to check availability. A man answered in the rudest manner possible — no “hello,” no courtesy, just plain arrogance. I thought maybe he was busy and decided to give them a chance.
When we arrived, we were “greeted” by an older man in a dirty, wrinkled t-shirt, who immediately started yelling at us and literally tried to throw us out. His reason? He said we “looked like kids” and were “dressed inappropriately.” I am 27 years old and was wearing elegant, expensive clothing. Meanwhile, the man judging our appearance looked like he had just rolled out of bed.
The restaurant was completely empty — not a single guest inside — and yet this is how they treat potential customers. I’ve dined all over the world, from high-end establishments to casual spots, and I have never been spoken to with such hostility and disrespect.
This was not just poor service, it was outright humiliation. No professionalism, no basic manners, no respect for guests. With this kind of attitude, it’s no wonder the place is empty — and it will likely stay that way.
This is not a restaurant, it’s a...
Read moreI don’t even know where to begin. This place looks like a nursing home on the inside. Sad old canvas paintings that seem to be covering up holes in the walls, cobwebs on the ceiling in the corners, mold(?) on one ceiling, broken air vents in the floor that essentially are holes, and CARPET that certainly has not been cleaned since the 90’s. The service was ATROCIOUS but to be fair, everyone who worked there was over 70 y/o so I guess for 70 years olds, they moved pretty quickly. It was like going back in time but not in a good way at all. The fried calamari and mozzarella sticks probably came out of a bag in their walk in freezer. The salad was served on a warm plate. I got the rigatoni bolognese and it was okay. This is comparable to “Italian” food that you would get at a local pizzeria…I maybe think that is even offensive to pizzerias. The only positive thing that I have is that it was pretty kid friendly…there were 3 kids, all under 4 who are little party animals. Luckily the restaurant was basically empty so they could run around and it wasn’t too much of a disturbance that they were kids being kids. I would not recommend this place unless you want to go on Halloween because it’s so...
